For an averagely active 10 year old girl, about 1500-1600 in order to live and concentrate on school, sports, and daily activities.
If you're 10, you shouldn't be worrying about weight and calories; eat healthy, sure, but start wondering "oh, how many calories are in a root beer? i can't eat more than 300 calories a day or i'll get fat!" is just not normal! This would lead to a major breakdown, and also it will lead to disorders like anorexia-nervosa or bulimia. So, watch what you eat, but you can still indulge; cuz if you don't eat pizza now, when will you eat it?
