anyone know of a broccoli raisin salad?

it has cottage cheese and sunflower seeds too but what makes the sauce creamy and slightly sweet?

The yogurt and sugar make it creamy and sweet!

Mix together
1 head broccoli, cut into flowerettes
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 pound bacon, crisped

Mis together and add to above:
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 Tablespoons vinegar

Mine doen't have cottage cheese but it is good.

Broccoli salad
one half pound of bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
2 bunches of broccoli-flowerettes only, cut into bite size pieces
1 C raisins
1 C salted sunflower seeds
one quarter cup diced red onion

Dressing
1 C mayonnaise
6 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar

Mix dressing and blend into the other ingredients

I am not sure if it is similar or not, but my old boss used to make this really yummy salad with brocolli, raisins, red onion, shredded cheddar cheese and dressing like coleslaw. I would try to put brocolli salad in yahoo search, it should come up with MANY diffrent recipies......

i dont know that one... but my mum always has made one with broccoli, cheddar cheese, raisins, mayonaise and sugar. simple yet delicious... even though i never liked raisins!

1 cup frozen broccli , w/ chopped onions, (red onion for added color), frozen peas or mixed veggies, 1cup of mayo,
red viniger w/ 12/tsp sugar, salt and pepper to taste.
