Dunno. My boyfriend loves my blonde hair. I usually go for a darker colour in winter and I find that I don't get as much male attention compared to when I'm blonde.

What I honestly think is that blonde attracts the eye, not the heart, brunett does not attract the eye as much, but that brown is a sexy sultry colour thats more serious, that may attract the serious type of guy.I was blonde for 4 years and 3 days ago went brown, and I love it. You just ant a change right

Go ahead, join the legions of attention seekers who go blonde only for male attention like Marilyn Monroe.

If you went blonde because darker hair makes you look washed out that is fine. I went darker than my natural hair ( I have dark hair anyway but I dyed it black). I thought I would look like Elizabeth Taylor but unfortunately not! Everyone said it did not suit me and I looked washed out. I thought it looked great for a while. Now I want my natural hair back.

Only dye your hair if you think you look better with it not because of men. Do what looks natural. Also why don't you dye it golden light brown. That is in between and makes your skin look good.

I always find it strange when people think women look dumber because their hair is lighter and they are plain looking when they are white and have dark hair and they are sultry when they are tan with dark hair. Your face won't change if you dye your hair. You can always tell if a woman is good looking if she looks good with dark hair. That's why in the 50s and 60s and 70s Elizabeth Taylor, Ava Gardner, Victoria Principal, Jean Simmons and Vivien Leigh ( In the 40s) were considered the world's most BEAUTIFUL women and blondes were considered the SEXIEST. So it depends what you would prefer to be known as. You sound like you want to be sexy for men so ahead.Wherever I go I see complete dogs who think that blonde hair will make them a blonde bombshell and they have black roots, it looks terrible.

Tsk Tsk.

To be honest i don't think you should try and be someone your not. Why should you have to change your hair colour for men to like you. Ok some men might go for blonde girls but loads don't. A true gentleman should go for someone with a good personality, a very bubbly and easy to get on with.

Most men I know think fake, unnatural bleached blonde is disgusting and false looking.

My BF calls them "Airplane Blondes" (because, like an Aeroplane, they have a "black box" . . . )

As for men "preferring" them well I have to say that most of the guys I know absolutely love dark women like Monica Bellucci, Catherine Zeta Jones, Andrea Corr and the like. I doubt any man would turn them down because of their hair colour (if he did he must be gay) .

The ones who say they "only date blondes" etc are either Nazis looking to re-establish Hitler's "Aryan Master Race" or sad, insecure, closet case homosexuals in denial who don't really have much of an idea what a woman is, so judge her on stupid things like her hair colour.

Actually, a lot of my guy friends go crazy for a redhead. They also think chicks with dark hair are sexier. The blonde look is definitely going out of style for a while.

No don't believe this at all but why change your hair colour to get a man

Men don't always have a type. Brown hair can look wicked as can blonde and red so if you fancy a change go for it. If you don't like it you can always change it back!

Not necessarily, every man likes different things, some men like blonds, other like brunettes, some even prefer red heads. Don't dye your hair for other people, do it for yourslef, if you are bored with the color, then yeah, definately change it up.
