Dear bc munk ee,

The great flood (flood of Noah's day) occurred before Moses and King David. According to the Bible, the flood occurred in 4990 B.C. I do not know the exact time of the Tower of Babel but it was after the flood of Noah's day. After the Lord brought different languages at the Tower of Babel, He divided the land into the various continents, David became King over Israel in 1007 B.C. Judah was destroyed by the Babylonians in 587 B.C. There is a high probability that Jesus was born in 7 B.C but it is circumstancial evidence. The church age began after Christ's resurrection and lasted 1955 years--it ended in 1988. If you read Genesis 7 and 2 Peter 3 you will see that there is a high probability that 2011 may mark the return of Christ and the end of the world Judgment Day).

It was before Moses (who was written of in Exodus) and wayyyyy before King David (1&2 Samuel, 1&2 Kings). In fact, the story of the biblical flood is recorded in Genesis 5-9. The tower of Babel incident happened in Genesis 11, so it happened after the deluge as well.

To give a complete timeline of major events that happened in the bible would take hours to look up and confirm. (Besides, why should you be denied that kind of fun?) Look through your bible (and if you don't have one, go to a search engine and type in "online bible verses" to access it online) and/or go to wikipedia and start cross-referencing. It's lots of fun and you'll learn a lot, too. Happy hunting!

The story of Noah begins in Genesis 6, the flood is in Genesis 7. That is right after the sons of Adam are listed. The tower of Babel is in Genesis 11.

Before the Tower of Babel (Compare Genesis chapter 6 to Genesis 11:1 - 11), Before Moses, before David.

A brief Bible Chronology: Adam & Eve - Noah - Abraham, Issac, Jacob - Moses- Judges :(like Joshua, Samson, Samuel_- King Saul - King David and his family-line ( Solomon - Zedekiah) During the same time prophets like Isiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel) Post exilic teachers: Nehemiah Ezra and prophets like Zephaniah, Malachi- Jesus and the original apostles. The story of great flood is described in both Christianity and Islam.

It happened before Moses and King David ever appeared.

It didn't happen worldwide, rather it happened locally, but submerging a huge area.

When did it take place?

2900? BC : Biblical Deluge Occurs
The Deluge or Flood recorded in Sumerian and biblical legend happens most likely around this time. Archeological evidence suggests more than one flood occurred.

Tower Of Babel Timeline

After Adam before any of the great men /women in the Bible Shortly after the fall of Adam and Eve. Well Adam lived 934 years. Methuselah his grandson lived 969 years then the flood happened. Since Adam had his first kid when he was "first born" technically he wasn't born but He wasn't a baby when God created him. about 1000 years after creation is my best guess. Noah was about 500 -600 when the flood happened. That is without looking up each text but the record in Genesis is clear enough. before Babel
