ill be getting married to this wonderful guy- only problems is he has a daughter-i want him to myself- and he has to choose me over her- anyways i dont want to take her anywhere- shes not cute at all- she looks like her mother- and if we have a baby of our own he better make our baby number one

You are just a selfish person!! What if it was the other way around? would you want someone to do that to your daughter? If he is a smart guy then he will choose his daughter over you anyday!! So what if she looks like her mother, it's not like your marrying her mom. If you accept him,then you accept what comes along with him.

You are in no condition showing signs that you are ready to marry this so called wonderful guy.. If you where you would accept his daughter no matter what. She is just a child she has nothing to do with the situation. If I was a man I couldn't be with a women who couldn't be with my children.

Do you even know the daughter's personally? You're being kinda harsh, saying that you don't want to treat her with the same respect you give your fiance....Try looking at it like this, she will be your daughter too when you marry him and you wouldn't treat your own child like crap, would you? Try to get to know her,try to get along with her, etc......you want to be happy not living a lie to your fiance by not telling your feelings about his daughter. I think you need an attitude ajustment. I'll say one thing no woman should ever try to separate a father from any of his kids that's just wrong and another thing you can't tell a man what to do if he doesn't want to. Besides he's a good father if he still cares for his child maybe he should find a better fiance.

I am sorry, but you are completely selfish. So what if she is not cute, you shouldn't make her Daddy choose between the both of you. As a parent you will come to understand that he has enough love for many children. If you make him choose between you and his daughter, you may win in the beginning, but the guilt and self-loathing he will go through, will eventually be aimed at you.
One day he will wake up and hate you for what you "made" him do.
Oh yeah, final thought, if you make him do this to his first child, I would bet a years pay he will do it to you and your future brat.

If you are not joking or just saying all this to try and get a rise out of people, then please DONT marry this guy.
When you marry someone who has a child, then you should be willing to treat that child as your own, and be understanding to the fact that he loves his child and the child should come first!

my son married a girl with four yes four kids and it has been really hard, but he is a wonderful father to FOUR kids. if you cant accept her daughter dont get married, kids need love in the home and if you are the main mom, be it or dont do it in the first place. find a man with out kids.
