whos thoughts are just so bizarre and perverted and gross. He is an evil man. All my life i told myself i would never become him, and now today i choose the wrong path, and I AM MY DAD. I know you will say that's not possible, but i have become this person that does not deserve life, that does evil and is not good for the planet. i dont want to just kill myself because i dont know how that would affect everyone else who has been supportive to me through out my years. But I think that It would be selfish to live just as another person taking up more of the earths resources and giving nothing good back to the planet. MY dad does bullshit charity work, which is just to make money for himself. So I know i dont want to do volunteer work to 'appear' to be an angel or a good person. I want to do what is right and not commit evil, to people , to the earth, and mess up anything else. please give advice.

Very simple to cure,. get on your knees, ask the spirit of god to come into you. with faith, and you will be changed.Pray on your knees every night for guidance, and listen inside yourself for that very quiet voice in your heart that will answer. then do gods will in your life. god bless you. in your spiritual path to god.

I was like you. My mom is a selfish, cruel and some would say evil person. She is very abusive. I think she has a serious psychosis.

I discovered in my early 20's that I had become what I most hated. Her. I had become this ugly, abusive, destructive person.

I decided to change. I bought a TON of psychology books to discover why she was the way she was. Why I ended up just like her. And to work on healing myself.

If I can do it, you can too.

It's not easy. I fall off the wagon often. I struggle with it. But it is WELL worth the struggle.

Make a choice and Work hard!

If you know that you are doing this stuff that is not good to yourself and the people around you, then STOP DOING THAT STUFF! I know you don't want to be your dad, so don't act like him if you don't agree with what he acts like. Do the right thing, when you figure out what the right thing is for you. Maybe you think doing charity work is just a front, but try it. You might find that you like doing the work and you know that charity is a good thing to do. Doing the right thing isn't always hard to do, and you can feel good about doing charity for others.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your life. :)

First, don't take your own life. Second - learn from your father's mistakes and turn from them. You can do good works - the difference is in your motivation. Do you do them with a pure heart or an alternative motive? Doing good works is expecting absolutely nothing in return. You are not your dad, however you are human. Forgive yourself and forgive your dad for not being the example you need him to be. Perhaps you can come up with another good deed - with pure motives - to make you feel better about yourself. Peace by yours.

Turn to the bible, accept Jesus as your savior. Find a good church that welcomes you and you feel comfortable in and turn away from evil. I would recommend a Wesleyan church. They are kind and accepting. The flesh and mind is evil, if you give into it you are weak and evil, however with Jesus you will be blessed with the fruits that can help you fight the flesh and mind and do good in this life. Pray, and turn to God, He will help you. God Bless you!

When we are stressed we tend to turn into our parents.

Children don't learn what we tell them. They learn what they see. So you are becoming what you have learned.

The road out for most of us is through counseling and rigorous self examination. It tends to be a hard and somewhat painful road but the results are well worth the effort.
