Here is the situation. My ex and I broke up 3 months ago, I started becoming interested in someone else. Then that someone else decided he was not over his ex girlfriend, so we ended it. I spent a little time alone and my ex contacted me and wanted to re-connect. I tried to be friends with him but he kept ignoring me. Now that we aren't talking, the someone else wants to be back in my life, but why do I feel like I am waiting on my ex? I still love my ex boyfriend and wish we could be together, but this someone else holds my interest too. I'm confused!

You need to stop being bounced back and forth. You don't have to be at either of these guys' disposal. Your ex had his chance to reconnect and then ignored you, so he shouldn't have another chance. The guy you met went back to his ex and now back to you, which seems to me you are being used as a rebound. Get rid of both of them and find someone new and stable. You deserve that.

Sounds like it's time to take some single time and not date anyone for a little while. Otherwise you'll keep going back and forth between these to people. When you really just need to find someone who loves you.

My advise, take some alone time to sort this out. Don't worry about dating your ex or that "someone else".

So don't do anything "official". Tell both of them that you are dating someone else (it doesn't matter who it is) and that you're keeping your options open for now. Until one or the other proves that he'll be good to you and all the other things you're looking for, there's no need to sign up for anything.

Okay, who says you have to make a choice?! Why not NOT committ to anyone, and just date both of them. You have choices, but having them, doesn't mean you have to choose!

You need to take a break. Focus on some "you" time.

Drop both of them , they don't love you . If they did they wouldn't have feelings for other women
