There are too many people out there who don't know what they want. They typically get labeled as "game players" but I don't believe in such thing and I have seen the best and the worst in people.
Find someone who is self-sufficient and happy on their own. These people are the ones who are actually ready for relationships. However, make sure you are also ready. If you are looking for someone to make you happy then you are not ready. You should first be happy by yourself so when you are attracted to someone you will be sure it is for the right reasons.
Don't worry... when it is right you will know it and you won't be scared.
