If you start eating protein at every meal, stop drinking soda and juice, and cut out sweets you will lose the craving after a few days. I had a huge sugar craving, but started getting my sugar from fruits only, and started not craving donuts and stuff. You also have to only eat "other carbs" like pasta, rice, potatoes, and sugary thigs AFTER cardio. If you limit when, where, and how, you won't even miss sugar.

Well, a little sugar is okay; but the problem is when you overdo it and go from 1 funsize Snickers to 10. Here are some tips to avoid drowning yourself on sugar:

-If you're craving chocolate, try to find a smaller, low fat version of one to satisfy your crave. For example, drink low-fat milk, or snack on an energy bar that is chocolate-based. Or, if those things still won't help, break half of a candy bar (Crunch, Butterfinger...) and you save half the calories, fat, and sugar intake! (Whole bar vs. Half bar-250 cal vs. 125 cal.)

-Stay clear away from the fruity, sour candies, like Spree's or Sweet Tarts; they contain tons more sugar than just plan chocolate or chocolate-covered fruits. Instead, try healthy treats that don't even taste healthy! Like slices of melons and strawberries sprinkled with lemon and lime for a sweet n'sour crave. Or, have 3 Jolly Ranchers or Starbursts; you'll still have what you want, but in a low-calorie intake version.

-Drink tons of water; this can help you to not crave so much junk food, whether it's sugar or complex carbs and fat, like hamburgers, pizza, or even donuts.

Try using an artificial sweetner like Splenda if you want to top something with sugar.
Stop eating candy.
Switch to diet soda, or better, just drink water.
Eat fruits and veggies.
