Hey Everyone,
I'm a 6'4 (yes tall!) ACTIVE female. I do about 90 mins of running everyday (even when sick I still go!)
I'm eating also very healthy. I don't eat any junk food, nothing bad at all. I follow an extremely healthy diet.
But I find that these past 3 months, I'm always hungry!
I'll have quite a big breakfast around 8am and by 11am my belly is starving!

Now should I just keep eating more food till I'm full? Its all whole gains, veggies, fruits and proteins.
Could this constant feeling of hunger mean I have a fast metabolism that it digests food fast and is ready for more?

Thanking you in Advance!

Marisa, I have the same problem as you.

It is definitely because you are extremely active. I lift weights and then follow it up with some running in the evenings and my appetite is going through the roof...

With you running, 90 minutes a day, you are probably burning an additional 800 - 1000 calories a day. This would explain why you are hungry all the time.

Try to spread your meals out throughout the day so that any one of them isn't huge and you should be fine. You are merely feeding your machine.

Keep up the good work.

You're burning a lot of calories while running 90 minutes a day. I'd say just eat when you're hungry, but in controlled portions, and try to stick to lots of protein, fruits, and veggies, just like you're doing now.

Hi Marisa!

As long as you are not gaining weight, eat when you are hungry- just try to keep the food nutritious vs. sweets.

If you are putting on weight, email me and I can give you some other ideas.

I believe this answers your question, but if not, you may email me.

Good luck on your diet and fitness goals!
