Yes. It is something your doctor should know about. It could be so many different things. Leukemia, anemia, vertigo, a heart problem, gosh the list goes on and on. You should see a doctor right away. Good luck, I wish I could be of more help but dizziness is a symptom of so many different ailments, there is no way to tell unless you see a doctor. Good luck. I hope you feel better soon.

Oh this happened to me ALL the time and it would really scare me..I would be fine and all of a sudden feel like I was tilting over..I thought it was stress. But I felt dizzy and lightheaded a LOT and had my blood taken and found out I'm anemic..my heart would always race too. Now I take iron and folic acid daily and feel a million times better...but also, when I dont get a lot of sleep the next day I feel shaky and dizzy.

Yes, it happened to be an auto-immune disease that damaged my adrenal gland, I almost died from exceedingly low blood pressure. I now have to take hormones for the rest of my life but I am fine otherwise.
