Why not have your friends over for a pot luck? That way you don't spend the whole day making food (why don't you provide the desserts? Something that can be made ahead like cookies) and everyone else can show off their specialty?

It's your 16th, so it's your special day! Choose your very favourite foods, or pick a theme that's special to you for your party. It should be about beeing spoiled by your friends and family, doing what you like, eating your absolute favourite foods, and having loads of fun with your friends!
Whatever you choose to do, make it a really special day, and one you'll remember when you're old and wrinkly like me!
