Man has been inventing religions for thousands of years : sun worship, moon worship, ocean worship, star worship, Egyptian religion, Inca religion, Aztec religion, Maya religion, Native American religion, Greek religion, Roman religion, Aboriginal religion, African tribal religions, mono theistic religions, Maori religion etc etc. the current crop of religions seem to be more in the long list of man made religions that have come and gone over the millenia.

Judeo-Christian tradition believes that God has revealed Himself (or Herself) through the centuries in the Jewish prophets and recorded in the inspired Jewish Scriptures (Old Testament).
Christians believe this revelation culminated in God Himself becoming a human being to save us from ourselves and teach us the way to live. This inspired truth is recorded in the Christian Scriptures (New Testament).
This is not man-made religion, this is God's Revelation.
