Anyone know how many billions of dollars immigrants add to the US economy every year?

I'm not sure if anyone out there took economics in college but here's a quick economics lesson that you all should know: Immigrants add many billions of dollars to the US economy annually which keeps the US competitive with new powerhouses India & China and thus allows the US economy to thrive. Immigrants are the backbone of the US economy and if the US didn't have them they would have serious economic problems not to mention the fact that there wouldn't be enough workers to do the jobs Americans don't want to do! Take away immigrants and the US would fall flat on it's face and many of you would lose your jobs. I know that white america is afraid of losing it's grip on power but if all these immigrants weren't working in America there wouldn't be a successful America. You want to keep out the immigrants then start doing the jobs they do and if you don't want to do that then shut up, let the immigrants do them & be happy that the US is still the dominate economy in the world.

When the last mass immigration happened in American during the late 19th & early 20th centuries the US let in millions of disease ridden, poor, uneducated, non english speaking Illegal immigrants into the US and did the USA become a 3rd world country because of that? NO, exactly the opposite happened America became even stronger. And WASP America was as racists then about immigrants (illegal or legal) as they are now.

THE ANSWER IS LESS THAN ZERO!

1 The vast majority of illegals send their wages out of this country so they never help the local economy
2 The illegal population is roughly 15-20% school age children now that sap the education dollars in requisite bi-lingual educator and materials
3 Illegals, by and large use emergency rooms for every type of ill and usually do not pay as they use false names and addresses and payment is not due upon services rendered
4 illegals do not pay income taxes, as it is not possible, unless they use fake papers and someone else's number, causing great harm to the owner of said number (loss of property to the IRS, charges of unclaimed income and filing false tax returns)
5 injuries/property damage caused by unlicensed/uninsured illegal drivers
6 insurance claims/lawsuits over shoddy work done by under skilled illegal labor

There are more examples, but this is enough!

Anybody who thinks this is a celebration will only regret it in the future!

Keep on hoping that all these illegal immigrants will help the economy--think again!

USA will become a third world country in no time, way below poverty level. Already we are witnessing a high rate of drop outs andd if they make it out of high school, college isn't even in their future. If they, by chance, registered for college, half of them will not survive and will (again) drop out as a result.

The school budge IS actually for our taxpayer's children, NOT children of ILLEGAL immigrants. Why should working people be penalized or their children be punished? USA IS HEADING TOWARDS CORRUPTION should it continue the being lenient the way it has been.

The streets are over crowded; freeways are being congested everyday, many of them due to illegal immigrants driving around, especially with no driver's license or insurance. Because of that, there is a high rate of hit and run. Your neighborhood is deteriorating with each family consist of 20 - 30 people living in a single family homes and the streets are crowded with cars. Why even bother fixing up your yards when driving by, you only see old cars parked in the streets blocking the hard work you've put into your homes??

ELECTION IS COMING--VOTE FOR THOSE AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION!!

Are you trying to leave legal immigrants in those numbers? Because when you take them out, leaving only the poorer illegals, and make sure to include education costs, degraded schools and that cost, and degraded and expense of health care, the numbers go way in the other direction.

Okay this is what I understood of the taxcuts: they leave more money in the pockets of comsumers because the more money they have the more they buy the more money is poured into the market economy and what do illegals do here; they work and buy all of their neccesities and without having to pay taxes they have much more money than you or I in their pockets that then is all emptied out into our market economy not in mexicos and if they were to send money to mexico it would change to their money which is Pesos and the U.S. gets it's money back. it's like a trade of currency... so I guess I get to what you're trying to say... Maybe..

I dont think people so much have a problem with immigrants, as they do illegals. There is a tremendous difference.
