If you have tried both...which was easier to do or to learn...watercolor or acrylics?
Thanks,

Acrylics are more forgiving, What I mean is you can cover your mistakes because they are not as see through (Opaque vs translucent) as watercolors. So when you make a mistake you just add more paint over it, with watercolors it is very hard to cover your mistakes , because you can see the paint underneath.
Also acrylic paint is thicker and stays in place where you put it and don't travel all over your paper or canvas like water color does.
I hope it helps
good luck

acrylics are more of a paste that can turn into new colors by mixing. and are good if you want a bold clear cut painting. watercolors are softer and less harsh then acrylics. if you want to do something very soft and gental like a flower or a painting of a soft winter night i would use watercolors. but over all i think it's best to paint with both myself. you can really get the best of both worlds. so just do both for the joy of painting!

Which is easier? Football or baseball? I've tried both but I'll be damned if I can compare the difficulty of achieving a satisfactory output.
