It depends Jamie, how important is this person to you really? If you have no signs of those feelings being returned, is it worth the risk of loosing a friend to find out? You have to decide what its worth to you. If you already know they don't return your feelings, why ruin a good thing, unless its just to hard for you to keep a platonic relationship with them?

try reading this to them,
A Moment for You
There are angels on earth
and I know you’re one.
Like an angel,
you watch over special ones.
Keeping them safe from harm,
and making sure they’re alright.
Lifting them up,
and restoring hope in their life.
Guiding them toward happiness,
no one ever needs to feel alone.
Because you’re loving presence is never far,
and your wings are never known.
But their constant comfort is felt every day,
So, if you ever wonder, you do make a difference in everyway.

Just continue being their friend. That means more to her/him at the present then if you confessed your love for him/her. Someday that friendship may grow into the kind of love you wa nt

friends can become lovers, the problem you have is to risk your friendship if they agree to a relationship and it all turns sour. weigh up the pros and cons. can you cope with being just a friend forever? no, then maybe its a risk worth taking. go for it.

Sounds like you met your soul mate. Get your butt in gear and make this person yours.

approach them and tell them how you feel, you can love a friend differently than you can a wife or husband,
