First you should get at least a couple inches cut. Color does damage your hair but doing other stuff to your hair makes it worse. I have had color treated blonde hair for many years. I do not blow dry my hair every day. Change shampoos and conditioners(your hair gets used to it)..I use a clarifying shampoo at least 5 times a month and a deep conditioner at least once a month. I leave it in for 15 minutes. Also watch the products you use in your hair.(too much wax products do not help("para" or :steara"). Read the bottles. if the products leave a real shine to your hair i bet it is loaded with wax.....I hope some of my thoughts helped.

First you probably want to get a hair cut...trim off a few inches to get rid of split ends and stuff. I use this product called Keraphix (sp?) from Nexxus. Its a protein treatment and works wonderfully on my hair and my hair sounds exactly like yours! You only need to use it once or twice a week and it rinses out after 3 minutes. Also try using a protective spray for heat before using the flat iron and hair dryer.

You Realy need a Good Shampoo and Conditoner ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY ANY CHEAP HAIR PRODUCTS FROM THE STORE GO TO A SALON AND ASK FOR MATRIX INSTACURE. IT COSTS ALOT BUT ITS WORTH IT. My hair is exactly the same way as yours trust me Matrix Instacure works a lot!! I did the same thing as you. I highlighted it while I straighten it. and then I damaged and it became really frizzy!! but with that stuff it helped a whole Lot. AND WHAT'S GOING TO WORK EVEN MUCH BETTER IS THAT YOU STOP STRAIGHTENING IT FOR A WHILE. I STOPED STAIGHTENING IT FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND BOY IT HELPED A WHOLE LOT IN CONJUCTION WITH INSTACURE SO PLEAZE TRY IT. IT REALLY WORKS!!!! MY HAIR IS NOW BACK TO NORMAL LIKE IT USED TO BE!!

I know exactly what your going through!! You need to invest in salon quality intensive conditioner and heat protective spray (Wella do an amazing flat iron spray for around £8) If your hair is coloured blonde then maybe go back to your natural colour for a wee while (I had to-I love being brunette now!!) just to give your hair a rest from the harsh colourants.
If you don't want to then use an intensive conditioner 2x weekly and ALWAYS use a heat protective spray when you blow dry and straighten your hair.
Hope this helps xxx

I am not sure where you live but here in Indiana there are beauty salons called Fantastic Sams. I got some shampoo and conditioner from there that really transformed my hair. I did cut it some before I used the products but my hair looked and felt sooooo much better after using those products. Hope this helps!

well first you need to trim the ends cause they are damaged and try doing a deep conditioning treatment to give your hair moisture cause when your hair is very dry it frizzes and your hair need moisture and also the heat dry out your hair as well so try doing styles without heat by using rollers and trying to achieve the curly look. GHD's are good and the babyliss elegance would work on your hair type. also try and do a protein treatment to give your hair some strength from all that abuse but don't do it more than every 8 weeks with strong protein treatments cause it can make your hair feel crispy. a good deep conditioning treatment is Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask,PANTENE COLOUR EXPRESSIONS INTENSIVE CONDITIONER BLONDE, AUSSIE 3 MINUTE MIRACLE INTENSIVE CONDITIONER LONG but you can leave it in for longer and heat helps deep conditioning treatments penetrate the hair better. a good protein treatment is (also called reconstructors)Paul mitchell super strong treatment,Apogee Aphogee Treatment For Damaged Hair ,Pantene Pro-V, Deep Fortifying Treatment with Amino Proteins, Restore & Renew . make sure you read the instructions on the protein treatments because protein is good but too much is bad .

My little sister had really bad damaged hair. She didn't color her hair for a while and she got all of her dead ends cut off. Split and damage really won't go away if you don't cut it. Try not to wash your hair but every other day and use a leave in conditioner. Really try to lay off the straightener. She ended up wearing her hair in a ponytail until her hair was less damaged.

You may need to cut it, stop straightening it and let it be au natural. Otherwise a cheap product that you likely already have in your house is Olive Oil. Just put it on your ends after you've washed it, wrap your hair up and have a good nights sleep. In the morning wash it out with a super gentle shampoo.
Good luck!

Probably the best store products are SunSilk in the pink bottle. Be sure to get the shampoo, conditioner, and the 24/7 cream. BUT honestly, mine was like that before and the only thing to do is... sorry... cut it! Best of Luck!
