The illegal aliens are said to pay 7 billion in social security taxes using STOLEN American identities. They pay sales tax like every American in the United States.

How can you credit the criminal with the cash after he robs the bank? Plus identity theft is a FELONY and hurts the American people they are in a nightmare of legality because of it!

The Americans have to pay attorney fees and court cost and lose time from work, to try to straighten out their cases of identity theft cases. There have been cases where 20 or 30 illegal aliens have used an American identity some of them have committed crimes and are wanted by the law. How can this be an asset to the American economy?

To: game over loves amy lee,

Well, Ms. Thang,

If you would learn to Read and write maybe you could understand the English language.

The CNN report said, 30% of all Prison Inmates are illegal aliens.

NOT

30% of the population!

You can distort the truth and play dumb all you want. But the American public aren't as ignorant as you! You are probably one of those teen-age Anchor Baby drop outs that has a kid of your own crawling on your dirty floor that we Americans are supporting on WELFARE!

Beardog43,

I'm sure the government would really be pleased how you've layed down and rolled over with your feet up in the air.

You are very Un-American. We're all in the same boat together at this point isn't it time you picked up a paddle?

You'll be changing your tune when hispanics get in political power just when you are about to retire. They'll cut all social service to an old honkie like you and your relatives!

If we still have families living on the street and the mentally ill wandering around homeless and suffering -then we are spending money on illegals that should be spent on our own citizens .

You cannot simply group all illegals together and deal with them as just a bunch of numbers. How do you even know if those numbers are correct? They are not documented, so it is hard to track them, so it is all estimation. Some of these illegal immigrants were taken over by their parents years ago and do not even have any experience living in Mexico. We can just deport them all, but I would like to know how much more that would cost. I bet a lot more than $70 billion. Besides, I bet we spend a lot more money on giving welfare to US citizens and incarcerating US citizens. Do those people give back as citizens? Doubt it. There are many citizens that are screwed up, why don't we deport them? Because they have a stupid paper that says they are Americans? There are hard working illegals too. In America we pride ourselves on the success we have and the relative stability of our lives. They don't have that in whatever country they come from, unless you count the 1 MILLION Canadian illegals in our country. They are ok to us because they are white. We have the opinion they can't cause any trouble because they are white. We are building a border fence across 700 miles of desert in Mexico to keep terrorists from getting in. Why would a terrorist try to cross that desert and fence when they could take an easy trip from Canada.

Here's a statistic for you: 17 of the 19 hijackers had legal access to the U.S.

http://www.9-11commission.gov/staff_statements/staff_statement_1.pdf

This is a complex issue, don't just try to make a decision on money. We might spend a lot of money on them, but they are here to stay. Should we deny them a place to live and food to eat because they lack a piece of paper? Until you come up with a solution you shouldn't complain about this. Just be thankful that you were born here and have such an easy life you can afford to sit here and talk on your computer. These people don't. You cannot empathize with them and neither can I, but they at least deserve some respect and dignity, because they are human too. I think we need to secure the borders, don't get me wrong, but we need to think about the actual people this affects, not the numbers they make.

P.S. Do you live on a border state, because if you live anywhere else, then you don't really know this up close. I live in Arizona and have heard talks by illegals and people who researched this topic very thoroughly at my high school- brophy college preparatory- and it seems as though some of your views are rather cruel and cold. There is a real world out there where numbers aren't the only things that matter.

well first at all did u knew that the spendidng power of the hispanics will rise to 1 000 000 000 000 ( one trillion dollars ) by 2008 .

second at all in your "studies" all there is lue dumb suporting himself .

third he isn't even giving the real facts for example : he says that a 30 percent of the jail population is not born in the USA when the hispanic in particular is around 15 percent ( all hispanics legal and not legal ) . im pretty sure he is counting all terroris America has capture and turning them into what he wants . plus he is also forgetting that many had been captured by other countries which had turn them in . can u imaging what will those countries think now that they pretend to used those numbers aginst them . i think that its pretty didcusting .

he also mention education as if it was a bad thing to educate those who live in the USA when USA has to ensure that everyone who lives in the States is well educated .

by the way he is also using racists terms so that just speak about the kind of people u trust . i am sure there is other racist which wil agree with him but the real facts contradit what he says .

don't forget too that the hispanics are creating more jobs than any other group in the USA so we must ensure those tendencies do not change .

and last the hispanics will become even more essencial in the future since they will be the youngest in the future when 1 in 5 Americans are over 65 by 2030 , baby boomers will retire by 2011 .

and did i mention that their spendig power today is of 700 000 000 000 ten times what u claim they cost . and thanks for not forgeting about the 520 billion dollars which haven't been claim and are increasing 7 billions every year .

the whole welfare thing is just a lie the fact is that in the last ten years it has actually been reduce a 60 percent this while the hispanic populatin has grown .

Why are you worried about any of this? You aren't paying for it, the federal government is, with your tax dollars. Do you think you'd get that money back? Face it, it isn't the money. You don't like hispanics. Get over that, this is America and we don't discriminate by race here. No matter how much money one group gets next to another. You want to look at government waste by race? Lets take a look at all the corporate tax shelters. Not to mention the loopholes written in by congressmen for their "campaign contributors." I'll bet the $70 billion or so you've got accounted for here pales in comparison to the money given to Halliburton. In fact, $70 billion is barely a drop in the national budget. Compare it to the $300 billion per year congress just authorized for a chainlink fence, and I think you'll see what I'm getting at. Immigration isn't a problem. It really isn't. It only came up as a distraction to keep people from noticing how dismally the government is running at the moment. For years the parties have been blaming eachother for nothing getting accomplished, and for the first time in decades one party has control of all three branches of government. They still can't get anything done. Instead, they rile us up about things that don't matter. Things like immigration, gay marriage, Terry Schialvo, stem cells, and whatever else they can spin into an emotional issue, to prevent people from actually looking at the current track record. I'm not even getting down on the Republicans here, they just happen to be in charge. Both parties are equally useless. Much like the debate over illegal immigration. I live in California, which is right next to mexico. It only makes sense to see a few mexicans.

BTW. "Anchor Babies" may be the single most offensive term I've ever heard. Why make derogatory comments about babies? That's only going to make you sound like a monster, and ensure that your argument is ignored by the general population.

Yep, we are spending too much on illegal aliens from ESL education for those who are not here illegally, medical care so they will have MORE healthy babies that we will send to school later on. How about school for all illegal immigrants to learn social responsibility and accountability, to instill law abiding character rather than us making excuses for them. Making them understand that using fraudulent documents is illegal in any shape or form such as using Social Security numbers of DEAD people no matter how desperate you are to get a job. Some people still hold respect for their departed ones you know, and to know that is rampant and almost allowed in this society is uncivilized.

Where is your proff of this wild accusation? We are $9 trillion in debt and the Iraq war will cost $2 trillion and you bring up millions wasted? Are you sure about going down this road.? We lost $9 million in Iraq under Paul Bremer, it has never been found. Investigating Clinton cost $40 million.

We may spend money on them but nobody really knows how much. Out of all those links you posted not a one was from an official government site. Most are just transcripts from an interview. In other words you don't know as well.

The welfare one cracks me up. The only way to get welfare is to be a legal immigrant or a citizen. Also federal law prevents the Welfare department from disclosing person information such as ethnic backgrounds. So where exactly did you get this information that nobody legally can obtain? And if they were illegals getting welfare and the welfare department knew about it then why are they giving it to them in the first place?

I am anti illegal but some of the things you guys post as facts are not.

How about you take a look at all of the "legal" citizens and how much we are paying healthy adults to sit on their a**es every day. These "illegals" have taxes taken out of their checks that they don't get back at the end of the year, unlike the rest of America that works for small wages. The "illegals" that I know work harder, have better family values and appreciate this country more than the people that are born here. I'm so tired of hypocrites on their high horses worrying about issues like this when there are so many more problems to worry about.
The Statue of Liberty should be taken down since the majority of this country is completely against what it stands for.
