French cabernet, i know its red not white, but it goes with everything

sorry, but i have to say wrong to all the previous responses. wine is very subjective, so i usually don't correct anyone, however in this case..... i reccomend a light RED wine in this case. slamon has a good amount of oil, so a red will not wash it out. pinot noir comes to mind right away, but a nice chianti might even be better with the pesto. when you do choose, pick a wine that will compliment the oil of the salmon and the nuttiness of the pesto and you will not go wrong.

p.s. stay away from the kendall jackson products, they have a tenadancy to manipulate the final product too much.
i can give you a good recomendations if you give a price range as well.

I recommend white wine. Something along the lines of Solena Pinot Gris or Catena Chardonnay.

Any kind of white wine would be best. Chardonay, or even Pinot would be good.
