You need to do two things: log onto tsa.gov and also check with your airline's website. One important thing that I learned the hard way: Each passenger is allowed ONE QUART SIZE zip lock bag for your creams, gels, etc. I had a gal size and they took most of my expensive stuff. This impacts mostly women - so be very sure you use a quart size bag for your carry-on. Of course, if you have check in luggage you can put all extra restricted items in the suitcase - just be sure to put them in a leak proof bag. i.e. zip lock. :)

Just about everything you need except things that are illegal. I saw on the news that you are able to bring all the things that you need again when traveling. Because you know they had stopped you from bring your deodorant, toothpaste, and etc., now you can bring them all.
