I agree with you completely it's all a big con. I mean think about it when cavemen were around and bored off there *** they made up stories or something to talk about. and I'm sure they came up with this story and after a while it was real, If you think about it like the Greek's, Romans, and Egyptians, all had stories about there gods and we know there are not real and our stories are basically the same except we don't have 15 different gods just one. and as i stated of the Roswell thing, it's true about the government telling us certain things to keep the world "sane" i believe there were aliens at Roswell because they found devices that our technology today in the year 2006 is still not present on this planet, so like hell they had it back in 1949! But anyways some things are better kept as lies because some (most) people today can not handle the truth.

**i like your ideas and thoughts they are very well thought out logical explanations, And how you think of something else rather than the ordinary, very similiar to my own. :)

Ahem. Stalin was trained as a priest, he attended a seminary in Tiflis as a boy, he was an outstanding student.

Hitler had a concordat with the Pope--he didn't bother the Catholic Church and the Church didn't bother him. It was open season on the Jews, the Gays, the Handicapped, and eventually of course...the Catholics.

Religion. How to distinguish it from superstition. It does have its place, I think, it has valuable lessons about personal morality. But Judeo-Christian religion also requires stoning adulteresses to death, it requires women during that time of the month to be locked outside the gates of the city, it requires sacrificing bulls and rams on altars and burning them. So we have failed in all these ways to obey the laws God laid down for us. Perhaps that is why we suffer now. But then we always suffered, didn't we? Really, I want a firm distinction between religion and superstition.

u raise a good question but fail to understand the basic thing about human nature, and that is that we all comprehend and see all things differently. therefore five people can read the bible and five people will see it differently because they have put their own understanding and views on it. that is why their are so many organized religions in the world, all proclaiming to be Christian, that is why we have the war in Iran, the terrorist attacking, all in the name of religion and their interpretation of it. Alia Jehovah, yah etc all teach in their versions of the bible that their followers should do all things out of love, if that simple rule or request was followed , their would be no murder, no crime, etc, as for the Jesus Christ, the first two letters are used in church, interesting point, Jesus refused to stop his own death and could have, but he acted out of love. Jesus is the church, he is not in any building but should be in all our hearts. all religion if followed honestly would make the world a better place. what's sad is that human kind can not practise honestly what they preach

Hmm...let's see what lack of religion has done for humanity in the last 100 years. Let's start with Hitler, Stalin and Mao. Between those three, somewhere between 120-170 MILLION people were murdered or killed in war because they tried to eliminate religion. Add in the leaders of North Korea, Idi Amin in Uganda, the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia and that adds in another 15-30 MILLION dead.

Good plan.

My religion has never started a war because other people did not, and do not believe the some way as us unlike some others religions. We do not try to convert people to our ways either.
I can't stand it either I just set down to supper "knock knock--have you heard the ... SLAM door, let attack dogs out the back door, smile an evil smile, return to supper."
YOUR RIGHT!! More people have been killed in the name of their religion then any other thing in the world. HOW stupid are we?

Yo depressed @ss guy or woman! i'm quite happy for you... and that i'mma provide help to end... yet there is something referred to as a well being center. You pay a sprint funds. You run on the treadmill, play some activities, gets out some endorphins, and you drop some pounds and be a sprint greater happy. stop dropping time asking why, because of the fact there is the two no answer or you do not opt for to nicely known and your innovations probable is uninterested in you asking it.

Actually, I do not think there is much good in religion. It has given false hope to millions. Even at that, those nations that have been based upon religious freedom and especially the freedom to worship the GOD of the Bible have seen the most freedom of all nations. When they lose sight of this, when they take GOD out of the public square, then that nation is in grave danger of losing its freedom. We can see that in this nation today as we see more crime, more school shootings, more heart ache then ever before. Our freedom is being eroded in the name of peace and security but that peace, that security can only come from one source...The Prince of Peace.

2 Corinthians 3:17b Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Find this peace in the link below.

I think since there are laws against sexual harrassment, there should be laws against spiritual harrassment. Someone trying to get you to convert to their beliefs should be viewed the same way as someone trying to get you to sleep with them, or turn gay.

As a Wiccan, I do not proselytize, and even if I wanted to, I cannot, for it is forbidden. But I like it that way. Since I cannot proselytize, then that means that any Wiccan I meet is one that chose that path on their own free will and put forth the effort to learn it on their own. I'd rather have that than someone who was scared or conned into it.

Blessed be.

Well number one you need to learn how to use proper English... or at least learn how to spell correctly...and it might be a little easier to decode exactly what you are asking...and it is their religion...instead of there....there indicates a place...and sum is a total in a math equation...and I would not even begin to ask what relise is....unless you mean realize? and I am not going to even try to force religion on you or brainwash you. as you imply...but I will ask you this....If I go through life and believe and die and find out it doesn't exist...what have I lost? but if you on the other hand...go through life and don't believe...and you die...and find out it is true....then you my friend ...have lost everything....So do you really want to risk it...? and will also answer with my religion is good for my soul...it gives me eternal life through Jesus Christ.... my personal Savior...and the choice to accept Christ is yours and yours alone...no one can force you to do anything you do not wish to do...

Sad the think about religion in that way. It does give someone something to believe in that theres something out there after death other then nothingness. I think even if there wasn't religion human beings would find something to fight about like land or freedom. I guess it's just in our make-up to be cruel to eachother and to fight for something even if it's completely wrong. I used to think if woman ruled the world there would be no war but I doubt it.
