which GIVES THEM (THE HOSPITAL MORE MONEY)...WHEN THEY ought to let some people go be with GOD...it is sooo sad, that it is all about profit....and money, money, and more money!!!Some people will kill others over 5.00.....and that is the TRUTH!

The hospital has to keep people alive unless the patient has signed a DNR(do not resuscitate) order. If there isn't a DNR the hospital really has no choice, but to keep them alive even though there may not seem like any logical reasoning for doing so.

I know a guy who was driving drunk, spun out and got tee-boned on the freeway. They life flighted him to a trauma center, operated, intensive care, physical therapy...etc.. Total bill? $650,000 and counting. this guy is unemployed and will probably go to jail for the DUI accident and we will end up paying the bill. Or they could have let him die.
No doubt the health care system is a money making scam, especially since it is driven by the insurance industry (a mafia invention). Just like the justice system is a money making scam. It's what we get from a country built around the worship of the almighty dollar.
Me personally? I'll take the life flight and forward the bill to the state.

Its true, but who will be the judge, whom to let go and whom to keep going. If you have relatives or good friends, tell them what you want, if that happens to yourself. Don't give up your job, its people like you who keep a bit humanity in our health-system. Thank you for that

duh hospitals are supposed to keep people alive or else they will get sued.
