Calling the manufacturer with the serial number is worth a try, but I remember reading on the box of my chi that without a receipt it is not under warrenty because you need to prove it is from a salon. If it was purchased on ebay etc. they will not honor the warrenty, so the receipt proves where you purchased it. :(

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Depending on how long you've had it for you can try calling the company and seeing if they'll fix if you send the proof of purchase.
But sometimes things break and you just have to buy a new one, I learned that when I dropped my flat iron.

Oh, I'm so sorry. There is a warranty, but w/o a receipt, I don't you can prove where you bought it. Don't buy a new one off eBay, because you don't get a receipt, you won't have a warranty there either.

That happens becuase of so much use, there is a short in the extension cord or the connection from the cord to the iron. How long have you had it? If you have a warranty you can try to return it, chances are they wont but its worth a try. Afterall they arent cheap. Good luck. Do something soon, I know I cant live without my chi

have you look on line , i think Farouk have 3 years of warranty. Or where did you buy it? maybe they can give you the 800 number , sometimes they offer a repair or in the best case a replacement. If you dont have the receipt they will probably give you a break , just ask what are your options you know you dont loose anything for asking.You could probably ask a repairing place. Good luck!

But I have had the same problem with ALL of my CHI I usually have to get a new one, once a year. I am not too sure where you bought it, but I know that Trade Secret exhanges them with no fuss, but you might need your reciept. But try going to the website and speaking with customer service, those things are too darn expensive to go out like that. Good Luck!!

Dint stress out! Just call the manufacturer, more than likely there is a serial # on the flat iron and they should be able to tell you if its still under the warranty. You should be able to find their number on the iron or on line.
