hey bro, good one here. i will do my best god has very few laws this is true... and in most ways its hard to relate them to things that are changing and happening in our world. here is what i do and how i see it... this may not be the view of all christians mind you... god gave us free will. when something new comes up we make the hoice if its good or bad and what to do. he does not have a law on whether to prtest against skinning animals or not, so we are left to decide that. that is when we have to ask ourselves, what would jesus do? kinda cheesy sounding i know, but thats all we can do ya know?

Excuse me, but Jesus, came first and 600 years earlier than your prophet. And guess what your prophet did, he twisted and bent all the teachings of Christ to suit his self indulgences such as having eleven wives and probably other concubines. He believed in the virgin birth of Virgin Mary and her son Jesus Christ and suddenly he discredits Him and call Him the original infidel so he can be the ultimate prophet.
Christ healed the sick and gave back to life some dead people, while your prophet assassinated and killed people that he cannot impose his will on. What kind of a prophet
is he who wields a scimitar and cut off heads?
How can your prophet be a prophet when he did not pass his carnal test. He was a sewer in the face of God. He was so impure. Christ was a celibate. He was pure and sinless and He never ordered to hate or kill anyone. He was holy and Godly. He cared and loved people.
With regards to other things, like what you are saying in the financial world like banking and insurance, you copied it from the Christians. What about you what have you really invented technologically and scientifically.
Nothing. Why don't you just pray five times a day and do nothing and wait for new conveniences. If your allah is great our God is greater because he allows us to think, work and bless us with prosperity we earned. You are not even allowed to question your belief or they'll cut off your head. Isn't it?. Why are you not allowed to reason out or ask questions that could improve your lives?
Have you invented the computer, the internet, the car, the airplanes and a lot of other useful things?.
You got nothing. You are wallowing in ignorance that is why there is so much poverty among your people. Even your oilfields, we have developed them, we buy them, share the wealth for the good of all concerned. Also we have freedom to choose what we want to do.
You are not allowed to think or reason out, that is why, I'm sorry to say, are backwards and do not respect other people's lives as if you had somehting to do with the creation of the world and the whole of mankind.
Only the true God has the right to take back life, and not some mad prophet or imam to declare fatwa. It is wrong and it is disrespect to the true God who created life.
Do you think you will really be rewarded with a white horse and 70 virgins? There are no more sexual gender after life. No male or female. We will just be spirits and no more human bodies.

who told u christianity has no laws. We have God's ten commandments, we have the rules from Church, most of all we have the exemplary life of our Lord Jesus Christ to follow.
U r asking if it's enough to "be good" and accept Jesus the main thing in Christianity, well ya that's more than enough if you can do that.
Christians deal with new things by reasoning we don't have to have rules to be able to figure something out, we just think it through. Knowing right from wrong makes you sure if something is sinful or permissible.
If you think having rules (like u do in Islam) is better then good for you. But superior beings who know how to use their brains do not need rules.

This is a good question. Christianity is based upon one immutable fact: Love thy neighbor. If you can do this, you cannot sin against anyone. Another basic fact is that when you allow Jesus into your heart you WILL know from sin, without doubt or reservation. We deal with the NEW things with a sense of awe and wonder, certainly with praise and appreciation for these wondrous gifts. Being as good a person as you can be and accepting Jesus is good enough. Repenting for your sins helps keep that relationship sound.
Don't all the Gods of the many religions in the world all ask the same things of us? Love each other, live in peace and harmony, help one another, and respect the earth?

Christians have basically two laws:
1.) Love God with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength
2.) Love one's neighbor as one would love one's self
Jesus said on these two hang (literally implies something being suspended) the law an the prophets. These two are the greatest commandments. If a Christian can live according to these two laws, then he is living in accordance to God's law.
The God of the Old Testament wasn't so much concerned with his people following the law as he was with their hearts being right before him. One such group, the Pharisees, was notorious for abiding by the law-- so much so that they made more laws that were stricter than the ones found in the Torah. Jesus often critiqued this group, saying they often did it for show. Their hearts were not right even though they did follow the law. One can follow the law, but do it in such a manner that is not honoring to God.
The New Testament points out that law are to show us that we need forgiveness and that there are principles in the law that we can apply to life. One such principle concerns marriage. The Old Testament Hebrew laws were designed to ensure that the marriage bed remained pure and deter fornication. The principle one can take from that is that one should remain pure before marriage and faithful after marriage. This is the essence of how Christians deal with new things that arise. The Bible doesn't specifically speak to the use if LSD, but the scriptures discourage being drunk, so we can firmly say that intoxication from LSD is a sin based on the principle if refraining from intoxicating substances.

No LAWS required if one has JESUS/GOD in their Hearts.
~~
1 GOD became a man !
2 HE was perfect in all ways !
3 HE was seen by angels as HE was
originally (THE GOD), and as a man !
4 HE taught the non Jewish ( as well as many Jews) !
5 HIS teachings were (and are) believed by MANY people !
6 HE returned to HIS place - we call that place heaven !
This is The Entire Story required to become
A TRUE CHRISTIAN.
~~~~~~~~
. How do you Christians deal with the new things in life? You wouldn't know if it was permissible or sinful right?
The Bible covers much.
YES WE KNOW for sure what is sinful or not.
We do not even need mullahs or priests--WE ARE ALL PRIESTS when we are Christians!
See the below URL for ALL information-- but you must read at least four pages!
Your soul is what's important! There are laws set up for Christians to follow...the ten commandments are perfect examples of this. Christians should not get caught up in the traditions of man, but should strive to grow and follow the teachings of Jesus. So, no its not just good enough to accept Jesus...you've got to carry out the will of God. The great mandate placed on Christians is to go out into the world and spread the Gospel. What is the Gospel? The Gospel is that Jesus is the son of God and he died on the cross for our sins. Take time to read what Jesus said in the Bible...you'll see that the salvation of the soul is more important than rituals set up by men. Look at his run-ins with the Super traditional Pharisees. I'm sure you have heard of the story of the adultress when the Pharisess wanted to stone her and Jesus said "Let the one among you who is without sin cast the first stone". Thats a perfect example of how the soul outweighs any meaningless traditions. And let it be known that it is not a sin to eat any food...Jesus came to shed light on the laws of the Old Testament...heed them please!
We, the children of Abraham, have all disappointed God. To disappoint God is a sin. That is basically the Christian law and it's a big one. We break it all the time. As do Muslims and Jews.
But to force religion on people at the point of a sword also disappoints God, as does the Western tendency to ALLOW our governments and the ACLU to silence all our prayers in public.
One day, the ACLU, the communists, the secularists, and the Atheists will insist that the only way to deal with intolerance between religions is to be intolerant of all religions. We'll have to fight for the right to worship God.
Why do people of faith fight each other?
The point of Christianity is this: No one can live by the Laws of God. Ever. That is why we need a Savior.
The whole point of the Old Testament was to prove that no one could live by the law. Everyone was hopelessly inept.
Muslims can't keep their laws either. They fail at many. Some laws in Islam are even contradictory, so how does the Muslim know?
God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for our sins. He fulfilled the keeping of the Law, by living it Himself. Then He paid the penalty for breaking it. Those who receive the gift of grace are forgiven.
As to what sin is, that is easy. Jesus said that the Law was summed up in two commandments. "Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-39) When you don't do these, you sin.
But, when (not if) we sin, we can confess to God, and be declared righteous. As it is written: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (I John 1:9)
The Believers Freedom is discussed in 2nd Corinthians chapter 10, starting about verse 23. We don't really have alot of do's and don'ts per se. Of course the Ten Commandments, but anyone with any sense at all would grasp that. As far as food and drink, we are told everything we do, we should do for His glory and with thanksgiving. There really isn't anything "new", if we just remember to honor God. Everything has already been covered at one time or another in God's word.
We do have the 10 commandments and the teachings of Jesus and his disciples and the prophets. It does say that '' Thou shalt have no other GODS but me ". No, being good , and by saying accepting Jesus, do you mean believing that he is the Son of God, arisen from the dead ? You have to continually strive to be like him. Correct your wrongdoings, seek forgiveness and try to live right. We know what is right in our hearts. It is not a food thing nor is it clothing thing. Banking system ? Good deeds is not a ticket to heaven. The laws don't change with time. We don't alter anything to account for time. We seek to have a relationship with GOD. We walk with him and talk to him .... every day. He is not just there to answer prayers when we want something. It is not that way.
