Yes you can... Join your local Weight Watchers and get on the plan where you count the points weekly. I started 5 weeks ago and I have lost 8lbs so I am off to a great start. My cousin who has been overweight for years started in Jan.06 this year and has lost a total of 42lbs and is looking good. I am so proud of her. if you get started now, by X-mas you will be looking good. This is not a joke, I really am doing it and I have not seen anything so easy work so great. The plan I am on, you eat what you want but your given an amount of points your body should intake per day and they give you a book to look at each meal and see how many points you will use for the meal you decide to eat and all you have to do is use only the amount of points given per day and the weight will come off. No lie...... seeing is believing.

Its possible but you'll have to bust you as s. You should loose no more than 1-2 lbs a week. The best way is hard cardio, which means you should be sweating and your heart racing. Light jogging and walking won't get you there. You need some moderate weight training, use light weights and 15-20 reps with 4 sets each to avoid bulking up. If you dont have access to weights do puch-ups, dips and single leg squats. Then keep a diet journal checking calories and fat intake (watching for serving) Something can 100 calories per serving but might have 3 servings.
3500 calories = 1 lbs. You need to burn 7000 calories more a week than you eat. If you start today you can probably loose 15 lbs. Its going to be hard.

I think it's only realistic if you believe it yourself. It's better to eat several small meals than to eat a few large meals. Cut back on portion size and soda. Try drinking water with meals instead of soda. Avoid eating anything past 7:00 p.m. other wise it's just stored as fat and you do not have time to burn the calories. If an exercise routine is hard for you, the smallest changes can make big differences, intead of taking an elevator, take the stairs, instead of driving to a local park or store try walking, or riding a bike, I have read that small workouts throughout the day actually burm more calories than one long workout. You also have to take your current weight into consideration, you wouldn't want to lose too much weight, find out what you should weigh based on your height before setting a goal for yourself. Good luck, if you believe that you can do it, and you stick to your plan...you will.

Go dancing! It is the best exercise ever! Another thing you can do is walk a mile in the morning and a mile in the evening. This will help you sleep a fool 8 hours and when you get the right amount of rest you lose weight. The right amount of sleep can make you lose a pound a day until you are at the normal weight for your height. This does work, but to lose weight the fastest go dancing!!!!!!!!!!!!

While it is in reality possible, it is not necessarily the best goal. Experts agree that to lose only fat and no lean muscle tissue, you should lose no more than 1-2 pounds per week. There are only 10 weeks until Christmas. I would shoot for 10 pounds weight loss, not by losing fluids, but with a really good eating and exercise plan.

Here is a good place to start: http://www.a-personaldietitian.com/Weight_Loss/safe_weight_loss.htm

And the best of luck. I will be working there alongside you.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

Most definitely. By going to the gym or wherever you go and doing as much cardio as possible and eating healthy you're sure to lose 15 lbs in a good 2 months.

Realistically you should lose about 1 - 2 lbs per week if you go on a diet like Weight Watchers. In the beginning, if you are really following it, you weight loss may be greater because of water weight loss.

Sure you can.

Cut out almost all SUGARS and FATS from your diet. READ THE LABELS!!

Eat often, like 4-5 small meals a day. Low sugar, fat and high fiber!

Drink a full cup of water every two hours.

Walk for 30 minutes every day.
