Jen - congrats on the weight loss as with everything in weight loss and health related issues take your time to do it right! this way it will be a 'lifestyle' not a crash or trend or phase you're going through. That said if you start with some exercising ie: walking, running, biking, yoga, pilates something fun that you enjoy (i find music motivates as well!). Incorporate weight training slowly starting with 3 - 5lb weights and reps of 10 -15. you can visualize the routine of weights by your body parts, ie: chest, triceps, biceps, back, gluts, hampstrings,etc.. if you don't have weights you can use household items that are not too combersome and lift them... use your imagination!!! There are so many websites that give you great tips, i also find the advice in Shape magazine is very informative, user friendly and you can vary your routine month/to/month because they give you new exercises month/to/month. Lastly, you can also go the DVD route and make the time for yourself in front of the tellie! best of luck and don't get discouraged!

My recommendation would be to do anything that raises your heart rate for at least 30 minutes per day. It does not matter what "IT" is. The key here is consistency--what are you willing to do every day. Walking is one of the cheapest way. Just get out there and walk. If you want to try weight lifting, there is a whole set of weights sitting in your pantry. Old fashioned sit up don't cost a dime or need special equipment. There are many websites out there that will explain how to move the weights or there are books in the library. Just remember -- consistency. Don't say--I'll run every day when you hate to run. You will do it for about a week and quit.

You don't need a trainer. Just join a gym if you can afford it. Weights and cardio are the best ways to give you a tighter body. A nutritious diet is key as well and is about 80% of results.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

you can't spot reduce. That is, you can't do any exercise that will reduce the fat in one particular spot. you can do abs and that will produce muscles in the abs but you'll still have the fat ON the abs.
Spot reducing is a myth, ask a professional at a gym.
