I want to know your opinions about islam's prophet

He (pbuh) was a man whom people called "al ameen" before prophethood, meaning the truthful and they used to keep their money with him. After he (pbuh) became prophet and started receiving the Message of God, people didn't hesitate to follow him because they knew he was saying the truth. Only the rich and kings didn't want to accept his message, because they didn't like the message he was preaching, he preached equality that all people are equal and that there is only One God. People of Arabia used to have thousands of idols, each having its own name. More about the prophet at http://www.muhammad.net

False Prophet

Giving a thumbs up or down to this question by any Atheist or Christian (or any other non-Muslim) does not change the historical fact that he was a great person, and the Seal of the Prophets. History has stayed true to this; there has not been a single Prophet of God after Muhammad (PBUH).

He was known as "Al-Amin" or "The Honest One", even before he began receiving the powerful Qur'anic revelations.

I think the hatred of your answerers towards him stems from the fact that either they are ignorant of Islam and the Prophet, or they can't believe that God would renew his message to mankind because there was something seriously wrong with what became of it...

False prophet

My opinions of the "man" aren't very high. He slept with a little kid. I know people will start saying "well that's just the time he lived in, it was alright back then.". To them I only have one response, "Well this is the time I live in. And in my time, where I live, child molesters are loathed and despised, maybe even killed by the father of their victim. Not worshiped.".

He molested a child. 'Nuff said. And until you (anyone who is angry about what I said) are willing to let some old man pushing 60 hump your 9 year old daughter, then call him a prophet of god, and murder anyone who draws pictures of him, you can shove it.

Well lets see. With his symbol being a red crescent moon aka the symbol of war, I think he was an earlier version of Hitler!
Should I mention that Muhammad taught that every woman should be the property of a man, that Muhammad taught that any non-muslim should be murdered, especially jews.......should I go on?

where do I begin?

this man calls himself a prophet of god and that his religion a
peaceful religion, yet he executed 900 jews (not in a battle, he
simply had them beheaded) and like it wasn't enough he
sold their families as slaves. I guess we all know the story of
he married to a 6 y/o girl, and muslim say he didn't make sex to
her until she was 9 , big deal. like being 9 makes it right.
he legalized brutal punishments like cutting hands of theives,
cutting fingers, and stoning those who had outside marriage sex to death.

Same thing I think about anyone that has lived 1000+ years ago. Wouldn't it be cool to be alive back to actually see if this was true or just someone writing a story?!

Honestly, I don't put much thought into people that lived that long ago. Recorded history from those times is far to sketchy for me to believe much. I would rather believe in what I know now, can see now, and what myself and God have to come agreements on.

I cannot believe all the stupid, bigoted, and uneducated things I just read on here. And---------the number of thumbs up and down! Practically every one of them----I'd vote with the minority. You people are really something. I am glad I do not have to personally intermix with you. You are disgusting.

I could say some things here about Christianity. But, I won't-except to say, Islam makes alot more sense than Christianity. G-d is One. And, I am not a Muslim. I just educate myself before I ask and make stupid remarks.

I would consider him a figure of fun if it were not for the fact that millions of people take him seriously. From what I hear he was a paedophile and not someone who set a good example.
