I read your question and immediately thought, "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing."
Before dabbling in spells, you need more knowledge and skills. So let's start at square one.
In Christian terms, a spell is a prayer. Christians pray to their god and hope that he can impact on their request. As a witch, you do basically the same thing but in a far more active way. That being the case, here are a list of thoughts that should help you in your development.
1) What is your intent?
As an example, if you are writing a love spell, whom would you appeal to for action? Aphrodite or Hermes? Obviously you would appeal to the deity whose aspects more closely mirror your intent. Once your intent is clear,
2) How do you want it fulfilled?
You might write this love spell for a friend but without knowing the SPECIFICS of what they want, it will fail.
3) BE CLEAR!
All too often newbees to Wicca get all muddled up in details. Keep the spell and the intent behind it simple and clear.
4) What are YOU offering in order to make the spell manifest?
It's all well and good that you want something to happen but what are you doing to honor the deity called?
5) Where is your passion?
Too often newbees go through the motions and think they've done it. Well, you could be speaking to a wall if you have not actively created the necessary environment for deity. They won't show up otherwise so you've just wasted your time. In all that you do in Wicca you must do it with passion and with love. Do not move forward with the anything until you can feel the correct energy with you.
6) You need to learn how to create a sacred space. Without it, your work will fail.
No one who is a practitioner of The Craft will share effective spells with someone who is unskilled. The chances of things going very wrong are far too great. Consequently, you will have inadvertently caused harm. That being the case, I advise that you go out and learn. Find a Wiccan mentor who will help you before you play around with energies that might harm you or others. And if you can't find a mentor, at the very least, follow what I've shared in the points listed. And, for your own safety, make this statement at the end of your work.
As above, so below
For the greater good of all
So that no harm shall come from this
In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust

Sometimes spells need time to work. Also sometimes the changes they bring are subtle, you really have to pay attention.
You may also need to check a moon chart to make sure you are casting at the correct times.
Make sure you eliminate as many outside distractions as you can while casting. Turn off the phone and any electronic devices around you. I try not to cast when I feel sick, tired, or really annoyed.
Keep trying though. Spells that you create are always better than someone elses. Try looking at some articles on the Witches' Voice, you can get lots more help there!

I gave you a thumbs down just because of your last comment - giving the best answer to the own that gives you the most spells?!?! Come on and grow up. Wicca is serious and not some toy. Serious practitioner wouldn't want to give you their spells because you come off sounding immature and not quite responsible.
They don't work because you don't believe fully. It is said that candles oils etc just help but you don't need them to cast a spell, that power for the spell comes from your heart.
I don't think you are on the right path if this is how you approach it

The art of spell craft is just that...an art. It takes practice and patience.
The magic is not in the words or the tools you are using, it is in you. I do believe there are more auspicious times to perform certain types of magics but above all, need dictates the time.
I suggest you practice meditation, conscious breathing, herbal lore, sun signs, moon signs, energy work, and try again. No one is 100%.
I have found the best spells are the ones you write for yourself.
Feel free to read thru my blogs this of this month, they may be of some help to you. (all except the last one, it isn't Craft oriented)

Gotta agree with Megami. The key ingredient in any spell is belief. The reason people use specific herbs, colors, etc. is because of the belief that has been placed on them by so many people throughout the centuries; this backlog of belief can certainly enhance a spell, but it won't do the work for you.
Always write your own spells. This is a big part of finding out what works for you.

I agree with the above. The successful manipulation of energy is based on what's inside you, not the actual spell or components. Those things are merely tools and symbols to help you focus. The power comes from within, it is your own belief and your own energy you are changing.
You can feel the difference when you don't really have a grip on the energies, like threads slipping through your fingers. Keep trying, you'll find what works for you.

The key to magick is confidence. If you don't believe a spell is going to work, then it won't work. Also, you must back your spells up with action. Watch the video below for more information.
In reality, as long as you know what you are doing, the spells you make yourself should work better than those you pick up from others because it is personal. I might suggest that you pick up the book Making Magick by Edain McCoy.

I concur with pretty much everything that's been said already - in particular the part about "a little learning is a dangerous thing".
Magic (and yes, I use a "c" and not a "k") is not a toy. It is not something to dabble with.
Wicca is a religion, not a passing fad. It is about the spirituality, not the spells.

They won't work when you write them because you don't believe in yourself.
Though, others may tell you that you need to write them to a rhyme scheme, have each of the elements represented, etc etc etc.
Sorry. I don't send spells. Write your own. I know you can.
