I love it there myself, plus we have a little girl who we'll probably take with us.

No, but Disney World was a blast for us. Disneyland is nice, but there is so much more to do and see in Disney World. There's some more adult stuff there like Paradise Island (I think that's what it was called) for just adults and Epcot center.

I think it is great that you are taking your little girl with you! Definately then Disneyland is a great place to go for a honeymoon, though I would much rather prefer Disneyworld. (after seeing several different programs about their weddings on the Travel channel) I would contact either a Travel Agent or a hotel that you are interested in and seeing if they can help you with different arrangements once you get to the parks on different activities that you can do. Good luck and congratulations on your marriage!

Well...I guess if amusement parks is something you crave on your honeymoon more power to ya. Not my idea of a honeymoon, especially taking a kid, but I guess in some instances it's not avoidable. But if Disneyland is anything like Disneyworld, yeah...definitely check out Universal instead!

My husband and I honeymooned in Disneyland and had a blast! We only had two days to spend in the parks so we went all day both days, which was a little stressful after a wedding, but it was totally worth it!

I've never been to Disneyland, but I've been to DisneyWorld in FL several times. If you both truly like the place, then it's worth a day or two. And if the little girl is old enough (like 5 or older) to appreciate it, that's a bonus.

But I've had enough of DW - it's too plastic and phony and manicured for my taste.

Well, if you love kids, then Disneyland is a good place to honeymoon. Otherwise, try somewhere more romantic, such as a nice and quiet beach in the Bahamas.

It would be a fun honeymoon...but if I were you I would'nt bring your child with you. A honeymoon is the time where a couple can be together right after getting hitched, and bringing along a child wouldn't be too romantic and plus you'd have to worry about taking care of her.

Yes!!! Not only do you have the Disneyland park, there's California adventure, and Downtown Disney for adults. You can buy a ticket to let you into all three for a huge discount!

That sounds like a great honeymoon, especially if you're taking your little girl. That's so cute! They have more "upscale" restaurants, and I think Disney has a baby sitter service, so you will even be able to take some time to yourselves. I think it's a great idea.

DEFINITELY! Be sure to stop at the hat shop on main street or behind the teacups ride and pick up the minnie and mickey bride and groom hats. You'll get extra special attention all day and a ton of people congratulating you :)
