I met this amazing girl and we have hit it off great from the start. We both think very highly of each other, have kissed often, but both of us are recovering from a broken heart. We both have agreed that we see each other as a bf/ gf material in the future, but neither of us are at the point right now where we are ready for a serious relationship. It's frustrating because we realize how great we are for eachother but we have so many issues to sort out on our own right now. We have decided to stop dating and try being friends. My question is, after choosing the friends route, is there any hope of dating her again in the future? I REALLY like this girl, but it was her idea to try the friends route. Since we decided to do this, she is contacting me constantly. What should I think of all this and what should I do about it?

hey, life is too short, go for it. tell her you like her, she obviously likes you too. if you two are right for eachother, you'll know it. don't let her get away because of your past. good luck

You love each other but there are "issues to be sorted out." Now if those issues CAN be sorted out, both of you must put in your best and sort them out and return to your love route. However, if the issues are just IMPOSSIBLE to sort out, then there is unfortunately, nothing that two of you can do about it. In that case you have very visely adopted the right course ie, the friendship course and you might have to live with it. The moral side of this decision , I am sure , will give you enough peace of mind and happy pride in your lives. Good luck.

Take it for what it is right now...live for the moment. If you decided what is best for the two of you at this point, then get all your ducks in a row. If it's meant to be, then it will be. Enjoy each other as friends until then.........

If you guys really like eachother, why wait. Sure there is the "rebound" issue but if this is just a rebound, make the most of it.

i think you should definately let her no how you feel, don't let the past stop you from doing something. you'll feel better knowing you at least tried then doing nothing at all about it. sounds like you both like each other and are afraid of getting hurt because of the past. just tell her how you feel.
