What kinds of workouts do I do to get rid of the belly fat? The upper part of me seems to be ok but I can't get the belly fat to go away. I know I could maybe do some crunches but I heard that can just cause the belly to pouch out even more because the belly fat wasn't gotten rid of first.

I want to tone that whole lower body part of me and get rid of some of my hips and buttocks too.

So what to do? It's such a stubborn part of the body to get rid of!

THERE IS NO SUCH THIS AS TARGETED WEIGHT LOSS.

leg exercises DO NOT make you lose leg fat.
arm exercises DO NOT make you lose arm fat.
ab exercises DO NOT make you lose belly fat.

if you continue to lose weight, you will eventually work off the belly fat. however, it is IMPOSSIBLE to target fat directly. keep that in mind when you see products/creams/pills that say they'll reduce belly fat. THEY ARE ALL FAKE.

the belly is the first place the human body increases its fat stores, because it helps keep your core warm.

just keep dieting and exercising, and it will eventually go away.

note that if you've had kids, or have lost a lot of weight already, that you will have loose skin, which will NEVER go away.

What you do to it is only part of the project. It is formed by what you feed it. Try a diet that is lower (not absent) in meats and higher in diverse and direct vegetables. Whole grains when possible, lots of colorful produce from tubers to fruits, and keep the fats from useful sources like nuts, fish (oils in fish not oils fish are commonly fried in), and things like avacados. Eliminate or greatly reduce alcoholic consumption for a time. These are not magical in their own right, but nutritious replacements for the bad fats that associate with the common popular American diet. The idea is first to stop feeding that accumulation cycle. After that you step back into your normal diet and routine with an eye to moderation in order to prevent the reestablishment of this fat.

These foods are less nutrient-dense and tend to be lower in cholesterol and the wrong kinds of fats. Excess calories from these kinds of foods will often be distributed in other areas than your mid-section. As you work out, if calorie use exceeds calorie intake, body fat that is burned may then be coming off the midsection at a higher rate. Good luck.

Some people might suggest exercises that target that area, but as you might already know, you can't chose to lose weight or mass from a particular area. What part of your body you lose weight from first is genetic. Sit-ups might tone your stomach muscles, but if you're already toned, then it won't make a difference to your normal shape. Besides, it sounds like you don't need to lose weight. Frankly, it just sounds like your body type. I think you should accept it or learn to dress in a way that capitalises on what you like about your body, and minimise what you don't like. If you're toned and healthy, but don't like your shape, I think surgery is the only way to change it. That's pretty drastic, risky, painful and expensive. So is it really worth it? You say you look great, so why do you have to be "perfect". The definition of "perfect" changes all the time, so I'd suggest that it's just a small thing, and that everyone has something about their body that they don't like. I think if you stop focussing on it, you'll find it's not really a problem at all.

Watch this video at http://www.customizedfatloss.link to learn how you can lose belly fat and get six pack abs in a short period of time. It will blow your mind. I was able to lose the belly fat and get ripped in only 6 weeks.

You will also have access to a fully customizable online weight loss software system which uses body type, age, sex, weight and current fitness level to determine the most appropriate amount of food to eat and when. It also includes a training program specific to your body type. Good luck!

You could definitely do sit-ups. Also, at any local gym, there will be machines designed specifically for the area that you're experiencing the problem with. You could also try a healthy diet that cuts down a lot on animal products, which is too much protein. A good workout and a healthy diet will get rid of your problem.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

If you have stubborn belly fat, the only way you can reduce your fat is by doing aerobic exercises. During activities like swimming, rowing and walking, enough oxygen is supplied to the body to burn fat. Fat is burned from all over the body, including the stomach. As someone already answered and correctly so....there is no such thing as targeted weight loss. The belly is mostly your eating habits....so change your eating habits. If you are a female and you are holding most of your weight in your stomach area you might also have genetics to compete against. That is where men mostly carry their extra weight and women are supposed to carry it in their thighs, hips and butt. Tweak your eating habits and see what happens. Look at the rest of your family, where do they carry their extra weight, if its the stomach you know you have an uphill battle ahead.

Truth be known, You can do all the crunches in the world but if your diet is not clean your results will be limited. The midsection is the last to go when you are losing/ toning. For lower body, squats and lunges are great.
