Can anyone tell me some good recipies, or rubs to use on my roast, cooking ideas???????

try taking your roast and cut slits only large enough to insert a 1/2 garlic clove and do this around the whole roast then rub with salt and pepper,,and basil if you have fresh after you rub with it push in with the garlic.....

I just use seasoning salt and pepper and some garlic.... cook uncovered at 350 degrees... until it is cooked the way u like.... a roast that would feed 4 or 5 .. i would cook for 2 hours med rare.... dont forget to make the gravey .... so yummy

My favorite is to use a package of Onion Soup Mix (Mrs Grass is the best). I sprinkle it over the top and rub it in. I also use S&P of course.

You can either cook it in your oven all day at 250-300 degrees covered in foil.

Or try it in a crockpot, all day on low setting.

i use salt , black pepper, garlic salt, paprika, curry powder, 1/4 cup of hot sauce and a pinch of cinnamon i l let this marinate over night, if you dont have time just omit hot sauce and i serve it with a cesar salad, garlic bread and mac and cheese

Garlic powder and onion powder, salt and pepper are all good.
