Is it right to break off friendships in the church though we are all to love one another despite our short comings & if they take you for granted? Is it warrented to end something because it's not glorifying God? What your opinion? Scriptures welcome... I'm pretty open minded here...
Jesus said in Luke 6:28-30, "bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back."

I think it is okay to break off friendships...the question is how, when, where, why, what.

How will you do it? When is the best time? Where is the best place? What are the reasons? Why do it at all?

You can love the person and not love what they do. You must remain blameless in the end.

Call me crazy but I think corporate America is using this against you! Don't believe me? Rent the documentary, "The Corporation." It will open your eyes and hopefully make you an advocate for positive change.

It's just a fact that some relationships are counterproductive and perhaps always will be. There are people all about give and take, and then there are people all about take. I've found that the work of the Word of God in my life has been a work that has cut off many non-productive relationships. I didn't necessarily have to do anything to make that happen. It just happened as I walked in the Word of God. When they saw that I wasn't budging from my stance in the Word, they themselves made the decision to bail on the relationship and go find someone else to use that was easier to manipulate.
