The bible says when you confess your sins and accept Jesus as your savior, the old man is gone. This is when God can begin His work. Take into your heart and mind His word, the bible. Scripture contains the building blocks that He will use to give you a solid foundation, build you a new life of peace, wisdom, assurance, joy.

To realize your place in life and your purpose as part of the Divine plan. It is wrong to wait for someone else to save you. You must live your life every day in such a way that you find it worthwhile, and that at the end of each day you can tell yourself that you are wiser, stronger and a better person than you were the day before.
If you are a thinking person, reading "Rational Spirituality" on the Dhaxem website may help you. It is fast growing knowledge about God, the Universe and our place in it, shared by the thinking people. One day all people will be Rational Spirituality, and the disagreements between religions will cease.

Well, usually it takes something "on the not so good" side of life in order for ir to change for the better. I mean that isnt true for all people in all situations, but it is for the most part generally true. It shouldnt have to come to that but unfortunately God has a funny way of dealing with his creation, and thats us. That doesnt mean he is the one to cause bad things to happen, but through a bad situation he brings us to a place in life where our perspectives can really change and we will start to see the things that are really important in life.

For me, the better muslim I become, the better my life will be. No one is perfect and I am only human but I will keep struggling. The day I can be the true muslim according to the Quran and Sunnah is the day my life will be perfect no matter how hard it is or how many problems I am facing.

It takes prayer and belief. And true worship. It is not easy, but it can be done. You have to get the knowledge needed in order to maintain and be healthy spiritually, mentally and physically. If you really want to change you will.
Don't give up. Sometime temptation my surface but you have/must believe that God with the help of Jesus will bring you through.

If you're happy with the results of being the one enthroned as god in your life, then there's no reason not to continue on with that path.
However, if you're willing to let the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ be the One in charge, then you get to take on a new nature that He Himself actually creates on the inside in the heart. Not all messes that we make of our lives are cleaned up in a day. As long as God is the One we are submitting ourselves to on a daily basis, He absolutely will not leave us in the mess He found us in. I've experienced it personally and have witnessed it in others' lives. If you stick with the process of walking with God, you will see His reward.

No. Giving up and letting someone else deal with your problems is never the answer. If you want a better life, get out there and work for it. Your life will never get better if you wait around for someone else to save you.
Esp. when the someone you are waiting for either doesn't exist or is one sadistic SOB.

Be a good person. If you're a good person your life will improve because you'll be doing good things for other people, and that will make you happy. Also people will love to have you around. Lastly, many good things will happen to you by being nice to those around you.

No. Make a list of those things you need to change. Each day, pick one at random. Change it -- for one day. If it's to stop smoking, then that ONE day, do not smoke. If it's being 'easy', for that ONE day, be chaste.
After a few months, start doing two a day. Build up. Remember to not deny yourself, just limit and reduce until you no longer desire.
