The most important issue concerning nutrition is the manufacturing processes and standards imposed. Every country has their own standards- some have leniency and other strictness towards acceptable practices in the farming and transportation to the marketplace. That is why you can't transport fruits, plants, or meats across countries without them undergoing testing for disease. What is acceptable in one country will be deemed risky in another.

Because if you look at our society today you will see that we are always on the move, we never take time to eat right. Or even excercise in that matter, then you look at our children they are doing what there parents are doing so in tern you see a whole lot of obese children and adults that have no idea or maybe they do that they are at a health risk.

Diabetes, Heart attack and High blood pressure along with an essesive amount of cholosterol in the body makes up a dangerous mixture. The try to stress this because some really don't know just how much in danger they are putting themselves and even if they don't care about there own health what about there children?

To break it down to you this way every country has a different way of handling nutrition, some of them don't do a really good job at it and some do. But lets me mind full some of these countries don't have the same issue with obesity like we do in the United States.

I think that we are the only country that deals with obesity at an alarming rate. Next to the ones who are dealing with starvation, famine and other deseases.

For the issues here in our country to be resolved there should be more public service announcements concerning about you and your childs health. And ask them with a big coffin in the backround "Do you want to end up here?" that is my idea that to me will make people think very clearly if it doesn't then just pray for them.

The most important issues concerning bad nutrition today are obesity and diabetes. Aside from that are also deceases such as anorexia, bulimia, certain cancers, problems with the teeth, heart, kidneys, etc. The list goes on and on. Unfortunately, in the US, obesity runs rampant. Just look around; the beaches, restaurants, supermarkets and resorts are full of obese people buying and overeating all the wrong things. Unlike other countries, we live in a culture that thrives on junk food which is all around us. Healthy food is more expensive and more difficult to find than unhealthy food. Education and will power is the answer.

I believe the most important issue concerning nutrition is how we perceive the whole issue. Some people believe malnutrition is a result of malnourishment, but overeating can also lead to malnutrition. It's not so much a yardstick with two ends being polar opposites, but rather, a horse-shoe with two ends leading to similar results: disease and death.
Moderation is a hard pill for most people to swallow, and that's assuming people even have the choice to practise it. In societies (I won't use countries because there are obviously people starving in affluent countries too) where poverty is a big problem, the attitude towards food is different from those who can afford to focus on the healing properties of food over their satiety and energy deliverance. Also, browsing through the diet section of bookstores might lead people to believe that the French, Japanese and Greek are lean and youthful, the same myth which led to a starve-binge cycle to begin with. Globalisation (OK fine, cultural hegemony) made sure even developing nations like India and China have got their share of Mickey D's induced obesity.
At the end of the day, our modern lifestyle and way of eating simply flies in the face of all the dietary habits passed down through generations, and thus we are paying the price.

Nutrition is an important issue globally because a country either has a lack of food or the country is suffering from obesity. I think the most important issue concerning nutrition is obesity. If you notice theses days, many children are obese and that can cause problems in their adult life b/c when they grow up, they'll introduce their children to malnutrition. So you can kinda say that obesity is hereditary. Nutrition in different countries vary because certain countries may, as I said before, have a lack of food; so they may suffer from famine's or something to that extent; where as Americans suffer from anorexia and obesity. American nutrition will always vary, lol.

rickeythekid76 hinted at it when he said (nutrition education). About 90% of the world's population are uneducated, and that is a downward spiral into poor nutrition, and all the ills of poor folks everywhere. Of those 90 people out of 100, about 45 of them are illiterate, or read with little or no comprehension of understanding the subject. The rest probably understand the basics, of good nutrition, but can't grow their own food, or lack the money to buy it.Overpopulation causes a country's farmers to always be behind in producing enough food for the masses. If we halted population expansion and allowed the population to slowly die back to a manageable amount, as far as food is concerned, it would take about 25 years to match food production to population nutrition. Within about 5 years all would have wheat, soybeans, and corn, enough, but that is not a healthy diet. A good nutritional diet has lots of fresh green vegetables and this furnishes the enzymes we need for health. Raw food contains proteins known as enzimes. These enzimes are what keeps our bodies functioning smoothly.... From my blog dated 10-11-2006

Proper nutrition is a part of disease fighting. Without proper nutritional guidelines, we would all be affected by disease and the illnesses that poor nutrition brings on.

The most important isuue concerning nutrition is the delivery system or the lack of any type of delivery system. Many nations of the world are undergoing turmoil and their infrastructure is causing great difficulties for vehicles and aircraft to bring food and medicines.

Also, the lack of health care and diagnostic evaluations is causing many avoidable health problems. It all comes down to people need to be more aware of the communities they live in. There is no other answer to good nutrition than peace on earth as we approach the holiday season.

The most important issue concerning nutrition is your health. If you eat right and exercise very often you won't have to worry about getting sick very often. You can really know if your nutrition is not good when you get risens very often. The reason people get risens is because they have infections in there body .That infection collects and forms one big swelling or bump. Risens show that you haven't been taking the right nutrition and/or your body is getting sick too often. Also risens prevent you from getting sick.
Nutritions very in many countries because every country have their own way of life and of finding nutritions. People in Africa eat beans and fruits for nutrition and people in American uses the food phyramid to find nutrition. So really all countries have their own nutrition.
