im starting to want to loose a few pounds over the winter for next summer...im no where near fat, just want to get rid of those love handles and belly fat. I have a very busy hectic lifestyle and i have NO time to go to a gym or go for a run. Ive been starting to eat & drink healthier...non-fat yougart, diet soda, lean meat etc. But i know how hard it can be to loose the fat around your core...can anyone give me any suggestions for someone on the go?

I find that when you are especially interested in slower weight loss and weight loss around the mid section cutting sugar and carbs and eating lean meat is the best and veggies of course. Basically I would read the south beach diet book and then adapt it a little as you need to fit you personally. However it does sound like you are doing good so far on your own, especially by cutting out real full calorie sodas. Those are a killer.

I suggest cutting out the diet soda. The artificial sweeteners hinder weightloss. Do some simple exercise at home. Try some tummy crunches to work on your middle (if this is your trouble area). Even 10 quick crunches a day could show you some results soon.

ALSO... and I do this now myself... when you're out somewhere (mall, grocery store, etc.), park farther away from the entrance and that extra bit you have to walk is good exercise. Take the stairs instead of the elevator whenever possible.

Don't get discouraged and keep up the good work!

I have had luck with simply watching my calorie intake. I have a 100 calorie breakfast (lowfat yogurt or cereal) and a cup of green tea. Always eat breakfast, along with green tea it kick starts your metabolism.

For lunch I will have some soup or salad with lo cal dressing and a little bit of turkey or chicken for protein. I usually will have a piece or two of fruit too.

Dinner I usually keep around 600 calories or so. Usually a lean meat like chicken or pork loin with green vegetables.

Also, take some vitamins so your body doesnt feel starved. Cut out sugared soda, and limit yourself to one diet soda a day. Drink lots of water too! I make sure that I have at least my eight, eight ounce glasses.

Good luck! If you don't have a lot to lose you will notice a difference in no time! I just got into a pair of jeans that I haven't worn in almost two years and let me tell ya, it felt great!!

it is not very hard to loose weight you know just cut down on your food make your portions alot smaller i have did this and it does help. do not eat white meat. drink alot of tea. eat fruits and veggies. another important thing too is to eat oatmeal cereal for breakfast it has something in it to help you reduce your fat. try not to consume to much dairy because when i was on my diet i didnt have any dairy intake at all. There was alot of weight loss that i had from this. I hope you think of this and if you do try it i hope it works just the same as it did for me.
