Many Chrisitans would agree, that the end is near, because of how the world is going today, like you'll get flammed for asking this question.
Anyways, Many theologians agree according to the book of Daniel and Revelaiton that all the prophecies that speak of the end times have come to past. Basically everything needed for Jesus comming back, is come to past. However, the one thing keeping the end happening is the fact that the Anti-Christ doesn't have complete power (at least we think), there will be 3 years of peace, for all of the world, then the Anti-Christ will turn and case the chaos...So spirtually speaking, yes the end is near.

If you study scriptures, compare world events, you know the end (as we know it) is near.
Daniel 9:24
"Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy
