When you put the kettle on the stove and turn on the element, in very short order the water inside the kettle will boil. All you are doing is applying heat energy to the water in the kettle. This heat energy increases the water's temperature to 100C resulting in the water moving in a "rolling" motion. It also mixes air and water together, creating steam as a bi-product.
What you have done here is manipulate physical energy. All magic is, black or white, is the practitioner's skilled ability to manipulate energy. So yes. Magic can be a tool for good as well as harm. The choice is yours. But remember that whatever you do (this also applies to every action in life) it will come back to you three fold.

Yes it is possible, magicians usually use "the jinn" to inflict harm on others and do all the black magic things. The only protection from black magic is the prayer to Allah (The God).

Magic is neither black nor white. It is simply magic. Magic can harm or heal.
People harm others quite often with out spells and incantations.

There is no such thing as black magic BUT
some people can be very superstitious & get very spooked & are inclined to believe what ever the curse is etc & get into a real frenzie & even die from whatever thinking it is the curse that has made them sick etc

Check out djchemi question 'So are we here to suffer?'
You do know ONLY you can let things hurt you.
Think of the cruses you know are being said when AH muslims burn our flag or the effigy of the pope and their life get worse.
I believe black magic always backfires sooner on later.

No. Woodoo works only on the surface. Deep down, whatever we do to others, we do it to ourselves. So anyone who tries to maliciously harm another, will reap the punishment, himself.
Only fools believe in black magic.

Only if those being harmed believe in it too. A belief can and will subconsciously lead you in a direction that your conscious mind would protest otherwise. In effect you are harming yourself and giving up control to others who don't have your best interest in mind. This is the true nature of religion.

I personally don't, but I know lots of people who do. My husband even claims to have seen a demon (or at least it's effects--throwing things around the room etc) and to be able to cast magic. Fortunately, we've worked out our differences on this subject long since, so he doesn't get mad when I ask why we haven't won the lottery yet.

Whether I do or not (and I do, except I rather dislike the term "black magic", but that's another long ideological rant), I always figure it's best to be prepared for anything...

there are those who may try and if they do the results will return to them at least ten-fold. from what I understand about most practitioners their philosophy is " harm none " so those who practice the Black Arts are evil and not of good character list most. there are ways to protect oneself against these evil spells but one needs to find a person more knowledgeable to explain how.
