It's saying in the good parts of us we're capable of things such as forgiveness. This takes a very strong and intelligent person to do.
But when we listen to our desires only, much like animals, and never go by anything else we are in error because we're capable of so much more.
It's not saying humans are a mistake ;)

Well it would be too easy to assume we are just automactically forgiven. Why should we be forgiven if we never give any thought about our actions? If we carry on as if it does not matter and we never need worry about a possibility that we should own up to our 'sins', then we are not forgiven!

Nope don't think so, no such luck. To make mistakes is a human thing to do but for humans to forgive those mistakes made against them is divine (a gift) that not all of us pocess....i think maybe...but not an expert.

To forgive is divine, but so is to punish wrong. God's not going to forgive anyone that dont think they need forgiving.
