Generally 32oz a day - foods are secondary. Until they're almost a year, their primary source of nutrition should be breastmilk or formula.

It varies from baby to baby. It depends how much baby food you are feeding the baby. The baby should not be drinking milk at 6 months they should stay on formula. Usually when you start them on food you give them 2-3 jars a day to start and everything else should be formula. I would say at least 3-4 bottles a day still with the food. It would be best to call your doctor as you will probably get several different answers here. No one can tell you for sure because every baby is different.

6 month olds should not be on cow's milk at all.
I believe the amount is something like 32 oz a day, but you should check with your doctor to be sure.

Being mother myself i don't think there is a set amount of milk they should consume, always remember that your baby will tell you when they are hungry so if they are not consuming enough baby food, then the baby will ask for milk.

You figure most babies drink 8oz at a time, and you figure you give them 4-6 bottles daily... Just because you are starting them on food, does not mean they need less milk, they are still babies and still need that... so 32oz-48oz of milk/formula daily... All babies are different...

It really depends on the size of the baby, the baby's appetite, and what you are feeding them along with the milk. Ask your pediatrician.
