If you dont think you can handle another one then dont. Its better to be safe than sorry.

Sounds like you have 4 kids that are really close together in age. I would take a break in child bearing if I were you and concentrate on giving the 4 that you have your full attention and love. I had 3 kids under 4 and 2 in diapers and it is a lot to handle. And I might add that the problems/trials/challenges only get bigger as your children age. You can't count on life being always smooth--one of my kids developed a psychiatric issue, another a chronic disease--Raise some boys that respect women and you will do us all a favor!

wait till the boys that are in pampers get a bit older, then decide whether or not you are ready to try again. Remember you dont know if you will end up with 5 boys or not. That is something to think about as well.

I have three girls - how about a trade?
Just kidding. ;)

About fourth time being a charm, it might be, but the odds aren't necessarily 50/50. You should consult your doctor who can refer you to a specialist who can tell you if one or both of you are genetically predispositioned to have just boys. I don't know the technical verbage, but if one or both of you have too dominant of chromosomes, they would overpower the lesser ones. Something to that degree. Again, a specialist could break it down for you better and they could run a test or two to tell you your chances.

Also, while I understand wanting the baby to be of your own flesh and blood, there is always adoption. Advantages to adoption is that you could have this baby be of an that would fit in better with your boys. In other words, have a toddler who is all ready potty trained.

Best of luck!

Hi! I have 5 kids. 4 girls and 1 boy. My boy is the baby. Good Luck! It gets real crazy here some days but we have alot of great times to. My husband and I are very happy and would not trade this for anything.

The odds of having a girl after having 4 boys is pretty low.

I would say you're probably not going to have a girl after 4 boys.

I have a boy and a girl...the girl requires much more time and attention...I would say 4 boys - 4 college educations - that is probably enough...of course if you try you could get another boy and then you'd have a basketball team....

Just be thankful that they are healthy. I know you really want a girl but for some reason you got 4 beautiful boys. Enjoy them.

My best friend has two boys (7&4) and she is pregnant and she and her husband have decided that if this baby is a boy they will wait a few years and then adopt a girl.

Be glad with what you have, besides, once a man has produced 2 offspring of the same sex, the odds are of the next one being that same sex.

I would wait. You have your hands full as it is. Don't push it. Take a break and talk about it in a year or two.
