hi guys,

Im looking for my first lcd tv and i have seen the bravia range in person and its made me sure thats its the tv for me.

Ive been looking online and there are so many different types of 40" bravia, some seem to have the same spec but are +/- £100 different. Id like to know if paying the extra money will be worth it or not. Could you check out these links are tell me what you think price wise/value/model? I know there are different series but i dont know whats best.

These seem to be fairly similiar, so my suggestion is rather simple. I would go with the last one, since if you look at the model numbers they are all the same except for the second to last number. Since the third one has the higher number, that most likely means it is the highest of the three models. I know that seems like a very simple approach, but it actually holds true almost all of the time.

out the 3 i think the Sony KDL40S2030U is best. i was told when going for a bigger screen get a plasma instead of lcd, picture is meant to be better.
i'd recommend the panasonic th42px600

adding on..... im sure in ten years time you might want a new tv anyway???

the middle one (komplett) is the best deal, try to avoid plasma.. as in ten years max, it will have to be re-gassed at a cost of £450+... so stick with LCD.....
