No proof needed to believe, only the "need" to believe is required.
The better question would be: "What "need" would have to be quenched in order to start looking for evidence first, before acceptance?"
As it stands; they claim that you must accept first and then you shall see the evidence. Backasswords

I suppose if nature ceased to exist, or if I someday get lazy, then I would no longer be Pagan. I don't believe in a lot, but I am stunned by the beauty and detail present in nature. Sure, it can all be explained scientifically, but that doesn't make it any less wonderous. I don't think that my beliefs are incompatible with science, just that they give me peace and hope in a scientific world. Knowing how the world works doesn't keep me from enjoying it and wanting to be close to it. And since I have no dogma, my beliefs can change with time and information. They aren't stagnant.

People who claim that they is scientific proof now only draws me closer to God and not disbelieve.
Personal experiences is what drew me to God in the first place so I will still believe.
People on this website have presented false discrepancies of the bible but that only draw me even more closer to God. God words will stand even when Heaven and Earth shall pass away.
God is my reality. Everything that is going in this world today
continues to show that God's plans are in progress.
Nothing can separate me from the Love of God.
Shalom

Well. I'm Pagan.
I believe in many Gods and Goddesses. But I also believe in Quantum Mechanics.
I follow no holy book, and Quantum Mechanics prooves magick works. (read The Science of the Craft and WHAT THE BLEEP DO WE KNOW!? for more info)
And I know personally magick works. (Though, you and others may have had different experiences for various reasons, if you even tried it) So, it would take amnesia for me to not believe in the Gods and magick, and what I believe.

A good question...but perhaps wasted. Most believers fall back on "faith"...belief in an idea regardless of evidence otherwise. They would regard such a faith-shattering event to be a test of their own faith and cling harder to it than before.
Although some people have gone to war and sworn off God...a healthy response to a nightmarish situation.

Your question is very tricky! difficult to answer ... why? because if I name anything that could make me disbelieve, this would me my faith is not deeply-rooted and true enough. If I say nothing, it could convey that I am not open-minded and am blindly believing.
You know what? I would take an option similar to the ones you have provided; if my holy book was proven fake and a human being could write one like it (just as Allah asked prophet Muhammad to say to the pagans who accused him that he wrote the Quran himself'.
The case I chose is equivalant to 'impossible'; no human being could write a book like the Quran because it is the words of Allah. So what is my answer?

I would never "not believe" G-d is there and we see him everyday, when a person survives a car crash, G-d was there. When a person recovers from a disease g-d was there. You could bring all the scientific proof in the world but the truth is g-d made science.

Prove that Jesus didnt die on the cross. Prove that He didn't even exist. Prove the evidences wrong. Prove that A.D. and B.C. were not named after Him. Prove that someone who did teachings and miracles like that, is not sent by God. Prove that someone who taught such deep meaningful parables and values is not sane but was crazy. Prove that He died on the cross for a lie? (because if it's not a lie then He reali did it for us)
Prove these points, just one of them if you can, and we'll get back to you again.

It would take me dying and that being the end of it. By then I suppose I would not care. But aside from that my faith in God is pretty strong.
