How do you come to conclusion about life?

1. Read the bible and go by that.
2. Reasoning.
3. Wisdom, with an unbiased mind, an empty mind.

But how do you acheive that state of mind? Definitely not by smoking pot, or not by dreaming, how do you acheive such a state where your mind is so clear of biases, and lies that you have come to believed, that you have the wisdom to see things for yourself? To see what's right and what's wrong, what should be done to acheve the peace of the mind in self and others.

You can't have wisdom with an empty mind. Think about it: wisdom is the result of all the choices and experiences you have made in life. That is why elders are considered wise. If you remove all of that, you lose the benefits of everything that has happened to you.
A combination of reasoning based on wisdom is the best way to make a decision about almost anything.

Honestly, I didn't pick up the bible and begin to read it and believe it right off the bat. I joined a women's bible study and each year we take one book of the new testament and study it in depth. The first book we studied was 2Peter. As I began to read and study and answer questions (we have a lesson each week), I began to see how wise and relevant scripture is. Ten years later, I am still in that bible study and my life has been completely transformed by the Word of God. I now believe that it is what it claims to be: God-breathed. I've seen a life that was a mess turn into order. I have changed from a fearful, confused woman into a confident, joyful, assured woman. That is what God can do, He teaches you His ways....which are much higher than our ways....and makes your life joyful. He put my feet on a solid foundation; His son, and His word.

You have hit on just about the main reason for prayer. That is to get your mind into a state that it has no will of its own and therefore your mind is clear and can objectively see God's direction in any matter. This idea was taught by the great George Meuller in the 1800's, one of history's greaest christians.

Bias is part of human reasoning... it's impossible to remove biases from one's thought process. A skeptical investigation and a mind open to the possibility of unknowns is essential in making sense of lifes mysteries. Filling in gaps with god is simply an attempt to inject another bias.

Ask any honest journalist and they'll admit that everyone is in some way biased, by the very nature of the way we think. You can't get rid of it, just minimize it.

It isn't possible for your mind to be free of biases. That isn't even a sensible goal. IMHO, the goal is to seek biases that prove useful.
