I think NOTHING of anything Muslim.

They are a minority in this country, and they should be treated as such.
Our leaders grovel to Muslims, but they ignore Buddhists, Sikhs, Hindus and Jews. Christians, of course, are totally ignored.

It is time that our leaders considered those of us who are not Muslim.

I care nothing for Muslim views, and I do not want to listen to "The Muslim Council". As a "white" person, I would like to hear from Hindus, Sikhs, Jews , Buddhists - just for a change.

The Muslim veil is all very well in Muslim countries, but it can never be acceptable in a culture where we value frankness, openness and transparency in our dealings with our fellow human beings. When members of western culture visit Muslim countries they are required to dress in such a way as not to offend the susceptibilities of the host country. It has become more than apparent that in western countries the veil is not generally acceptable and makes people feel uncomfortable. It is therefore not unreasonable to expect people availing themselves of the hospitality of such countries to dress in such a way as not to give offence. Alternatively, they can just stay away.

If the veil is supposed to protect the dignity of women...the let the men wear it as well to protect their own dignity.

Let me know when it's snowing in Hell.
