Sometimes there is no apparent reasons for migraines. I have migraine associated vertigo and ended up going to Mayo Clinic to try to find out what is going on. They think a brain injury but do not know. Migraine is usually a symptom of something else going on but not always. Have you tried a pain clinic? Or have you tried different neuros other than just 1? Alot of times with migraines they are very hard to find the true cause, you can do the process of elimination by trying to find the triggers of the migraines. Anyway not much help here but hope you all the best as I know what having migraines is all about and it's miserable.

If you've been to a good neurologist and you think he's missed something? your other choice is to a university hospital or a clinical hospital. These have doctors that come in for all types of problems. Migraines do have a seated problem but, to find it. It can be simple, like a domestic problem or something more serious such as an in body problem that hasn't shown itself yet. Get ready for tests, many of them, from CAT scans to blood work. Good Luck P.S. sometimes a pain clinic can help with the pain for the time being but, it's not the end result you may want.. Drug therapy is what they turn to now days and that's not curing( If that's possible) the problem, only delaying it.

likely no other reasons if you have seen a neurologist already, you could consider a pain clinic for chronic migraine management too, good luck

Dissociative Identity Disorder, by the way you're saying "we"... are you under a lot of stress?
Dehydration was the cause of my migranes, as well as food allergies.
Try a naturopath--conventional doctors didn't know what to do for me, so I went to an ND and she knew exactly what to do!
