I sure did. I had just been divorced....for the second time....and realized that I was a complete failure at orchestrating my life. I completely gave up. I said to God, I cannot make anything work, I don't know what I'm doing, I can't handle any of this, please, take my life from me.
That was six years ago. He not only raised me from the ashes, He has restored my purity, my virtue, given me the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of despair. He has given me wisdom, knowledge, purpose, peace. My life is like a beautiful garden. And what I did was what He asked of me..."seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all things will be added to you".
I can tell you that if you give your life into the keeping of Jesus, your life will be more beautiful, purposeful and peaceful than you could ever imagine. I have been forgiven, washed clean, and my feet have been placed on the rock of His word. Interesting, that God seems to do His very best work amidst the ruination of a life.

Yes, I have let go and let God. God is the head of my life. I truly believe in God, I can't see him, I feel his spirit all over me. When I'm driving down the street and think about the goodness of the Lord tears just start flowing and can't nobody do that but God. That's having the faith in God and that's the difference.
I have tried and I have struggled from my sin to be set free; not by trying but through trusting, Jesus gives me the victory. Not one day every day just because a little walk with Jesus makes it alright.
God may not come when you want him, but he is an on time God and he will not let you down.

I always try to let God take control. It does no good for me to worry about those things which I cannot change. For those i simply give it over to God and let him deal with it. I have done this with regards to any needs I cannot meet on my own and sometimes just simple things like hurt feelings. I liken it to a child who has a broken toy. It is very upsetting to the child and they will bring the toy to you to fix. If they actually give it to you and do not worry you over it , the problem can usually be fixed quickly. However, if the child doesn't really let you hold it to look at it and find out how to fix it then it will remain broken. Sometimes you have to learn to let go.

Yes...there was a time where I was out of work, car was wrecked, health was going downhill, no food in house, facing eviction, utilities scheduled for shut-off at any moment. I prayed...and "let go and let God". I was immediately filled with a feeling that all would be fine, and I was "told" to go out side and get some air and the first person I encountered would have valuable insight for me. I did and the first person I saw was a neighbor from downstairs who commented that I was not looking too well and to tell him what was (obviously) wrong. I did. he told me that there was day-labor place in town I could go to for work, and that if I promised to do that he would talk the landlord out of evcting me. I agreed, and the landlord ended up hiring me, the county paid my light bill in full, and I found that I could go to the food pantry for groceries. I worked off the rent, go myself back together, got a better job, and have thanked God for His Love every day since. So, yeah, it works!

Yes, I have let go and Let God work things out, in fact when i did this it made my life easier i wasn't caring around a big burden, that is what Jesus is there for, to carry your burdens He said "my yoke is easy and my burdens light" and i dont know about you but i am not trying to carry no more then i have too, Because it is already hard enough to do regular stuff as it is.

Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God
I found out the hard way, that I should let go and let God.
Had the worse anxiety attacks, ended up in the emergency room many times, I was a "control freak" and my teenager son told me Mom you need Jesus in your life, seven years ago. I am not free from afflictions, but I now let him take care of me, He is my daddy
I cry out to him Abba Father, and I can feel his peace, and his angels around me, protecting me. I am holding on to his promise to never leave me or forsake me. He is the only one who has never fail me. His mercies are new every morning I wake up.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
What a father do we have! I praise him everyday on credit. for the good that he is going to do for me. and I dont have to pay him back in a month. His son pay my debt already on the cross.

Yes, many times. I was a christian until my mid-20s. Many times, during death of a loved one and in non-crisis times, I would "give up control" to "God." Usually I felt a lot calmer and more peaceful, convinced that things were working according to plan. For the most part, things generally worked out.
Since leaving the christian faith, I have had other instances where I have "let go" of events. Not giving them to "God" but just letting go in a buddhist sort of way. I have felt a similar calm and peace of mind.
It is possible that "a force" is at work, when you give things up to . Another possibility is that when you just settle down and chill out about things, you're able to function better and "things" end up working out better.

Yes, I have and when I do things work out, but when I try to tell God how I think things should be handled I make a big mess.
Like dealing with one of my sons that has numerous problems. I tend to handle the problem (usually money) instead of allowing God to deal with my son and his problem (s). Then nothing is resolved and my son is just spinning his wheels instead of growing and moving in a positive direction with his life.

God gave us hands to work with, feet to move with, a heart to feel with and a brain to use. He gave us free will. NOWHERE in the bible does it say to do nothing with your life. EVERYWHERE you will see the word Strive. Look that up in the dictionary. Our feet are pointed forward for a reason, to go forward not backward. Trusting in God is not the same as relying on Him to do everything for you. Would He? Most likely. Should we? Absolutely not. We should show God how much we appreciate what he has given us by doing not receiving.
Everything God tells us to do or be in the bible, all those words are action words. Look carefully at your bible, trust (requires mental action) believe (again mental action) seek (physical and mental action) find (physical action).
I honestly believe God gives more to those who give.
JUST MY OPINION
