I think that may be a matter of opinion, but it seems to me that crimewise, in the US, Los angeles and Chicago have to be up there with Miami. I don't really think NYC is in the top 5. As far as the rest of the world, pick almost any large city in an Eastern country. They are all very dangerous.

I heard that anywhere in Russia is pretty dangerous. My husband's company has been trying to fill a position there and they can't get anyone to go. I'd say that Irac and Iran are dangerous also. And Thailand too. I'm not naming specific cities, because I think that most cities in these countries are dangerous. I also heard that Rio de Jinero in Brazil is a really bad place too.
