Energy is energy, prayer (no matter what the religion) is an outpouring of energy. Say if you were ill and your grandma was catholic & lit a candle for you at church, she would be directing positive energy in your direction for the purpose of your healing. If a total stranger says they will pray for me I get a bit weirded out, but as for family close friends etc, I know they are looking out for my best interest, so I am fine with it. Being a former catholic myself, I still turn to the saints when dealing with my family. I wouldn't think of casting a bindrune for them, or any other type of spell work, as that is not really part of thier paradigm of belief. So in short, if i was sure of the persons intentions for me, I would be fine with it.

If it were a radically different faith, I would kindly decline. If you have a relationship with your God, you should be able to pray for yourself and have your prayers answered. I don't see how someone who doesn't even believe the same things that you do could possibly get God to answer their prayers for them and you can't.

It would be great but I doubt that they will pray for me considering the fact that I am so open to pray and compassion for those who are in need of prayer first. Some people tend to shy away and not forward or open to the spirit of God to pray for others.
God bless.

We need all the prayers we can get and their religious preference should not be a problem...different religious beliefs were begin by man because we all have different spiritual needs...as long as they were not satanical or praying to satan...I don't think it would really matter if they are praying for you......to me that shows they care enough to pray for you...

yes i would be fine with it because as some people would say, "I need all the prayers i can get"...but on a serious note, that person's faith and mine maybe different but there is only ONE GOD...just in many varied forms....

I believe that a person's prayer life is private and sacred. I don't care if they believe in opposing religion or faith. The fact that they are excerising their faith is an encouragement to my faith.
Sincerely,

I would decline politely. I don't want to offend anyone! That's just not me. I feel if I partake of their pray to their god then I am in a sense worshipping with them and their god. I only have 1 God and He said I shall have no other god before Him! I can't help what that person may do on their own once I am not with them. This is just my personal feeling.

I wouldn't have a problem with a person of any faith doing what they can to send good energies toward me and my family.

Do what you want, Just leave me out of it, especially when it comes to praying for me. I'm just fine without it. And why do people feel the need to pray for others anyway? People need to stop trying to "FIX" each other and work on themselves.
