I think blogging is a way to express your views to a large amount of people. It has become similar to a editorial or advice column like in a newspaper except millions of people can view it.
It gives us different aspects of people's lives, their tastes, their views. It gives us the reader the opportunity to either support, not support, give advice and our opinions on a huge amount of different topics.

The world is not really flattened because there are many nations that sensor what can be said and seen on the internet... take China for example... even in their international colleges and buisnesses... their government still blocks many things (CNN is one that I know)... although the advent of the blog has made life a lot easier and convienient... as well as allows for many different people that would never communicate with each other to do so

I think that blogging is just a way for people to brag and thump their chests to the world. Nobody that I know really cares about peoples blogs and what they have done on a daily basis.

I believe that blogging is great it gives power to the "Little people", think about it if someone where to say don't go to this resturant because the food is bad everything is dirty then a lot ot people who read it will not want to go there.

Well, that depends on your definition of "information." Information, aka "facts," tends to be buried in with a lot of crap and opinion. A million monkeys at a million typewriters... only a few are going to have anything decent to say.

I think blogging is, like one user said..a way to brag. I don't give a crap what someone thinks, their great "ideas" on the world, what mood they are in, what they are listening to..and blah blah blah.. go out in the real world already, geez.

yeah but sometimes, some blog contain crap (im not saying all) and some contain stuff you wouldn't even want to read. however, its a good thing when you need fast (however not always credible) info.
